Today's protagonist is the Sanyuan Canteen, which was born in Wuqiao Island and recently relocated to a new site.It used eight years to tell people that the world really has a free lunch, Wuqiao Island is still the human touch, love story is still in the city of Shantou.

yuan dining hall was busy.On one side, there was a warm stir-fry on the stove, and on the other side,volunteers prepared lunch boxes and side dishes. The steaming cabinet on the side was also slowly steaming, and the smell of the food soon filled the whole kitchen.

Although just moved here soon, but we

are still very tacit understanding. After the food was cooked, the volunteers

quickly finished loading the plates and

playing the dishes, waiting for the people

in need to come to collect them.

From time to time, people also sent

bread, biscuits and other food.

It is understood that the current association registered 57 volunteers, usually there will be social caring people to help, basically can meet the needs of

cooking and delivering meals.

Like this lunch box, Sanyuan canteen currently needs to make about 90 per day.Three dishes a day, the ingredients

need to go fresh in the morning, but also a day ahead of marinated meat and so on.

With meat and vegetables, balanced

nutrition, seemingly simple, in fact, volunteers spent a lot of thought.

Around 11:00, someone came to eat.

The volunteers handed over the lunch

boxes with their hands, and the people who received the meal took them and

thanked them. Love in the shuttle lunch

In addition to distributing lunch boxes at

the San Yuan Canteen,Volunteers are

also required to deliver meals to the

elderly and the disabled every day.

It is reported that during the peak period,

Sanyuan Canteen needed more than 30

households to deliver meals every day,

but with the transformation of Wuqiao

Island, some people moved out of Wuqiao

Island, and some people died, and the

number of people who needed to deliver

meals was gradually reduced.

But as long as there are people in need,

they will persevere. Two meals a day, all

year round, rain or shine.

In July 2016, when Sanyuan Canteen

officially opened at 136 Erma Road,

probably no one could have predicted

that its vitality would be so tenacious.

Due to the small size of the site at that

time, in order to ensure the quality of the

food, it was first semi-processed from

other places, transported to this place for

heating, and then sent to the people in

heating, and then sent to the people in

need.

Even if the environment is not good, the

process is cumbersome and questioned,

but the volunteers still have a cavity,

immerse themselves in it and enjoy it.

In 2017, Sanyuan Canteen set up a central

kitchen on Shengping Road in order to

expand the supply of free packed lunches

and help more people.

It is reported that by 2019, the daily

lunch box volume here can reach more

than 240.

Unfortunately, the central kitchen was

later closed for some reason; Fortunately,

the volunteers' love did not suffer.

Time came to June 2022, in order to

cooperate with the demolition of the old

Wuqiao Island, the Sanyuan Canteen was

relocated to: 363 Erma Road as a

temporary transition.

Here, volunteers make different dishes

every day.On New Year's Day, there are

also snacks for the festival, so that the

elderly can feel the festive atmosphere

and full of warmth.

Unfortunately, the equipment here is old

and often tripped, and many problems

affect the daily operation of the Sanyuan

canteen. Relocation is imminent.

So, three yuan dining hall ushered in the

third relocation.

The new site is located at 6 Ha Ling Road,

which is only a bridge away from Wuqiao

Island, and will continue to write the love

story of Sanyuan Canteen.

Next, Sanyuan Canteen will work hard

to increase the supply on the one hand,

and on the other hand, it will go to

Guanghua District to find those old

people who have relocated from

Wuqiao Island and need help, and set up a suitable pick-up point to deliver

meals to them.

Behind the number, is to pay and insist, is
