The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning.
飛機(jī)誤點(diǎn)了腮猖，偵探們?cè)跈C(jī)場(chǎng)等了整整一上午问欠。

They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamonds from South Africa.
他們正期待從南非來(lái)的一個(gè)裝著鉆石的貴重包裹。

A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds.
數(shù)小時(shí)以前懂讯，有人向警方報(bào)告，說(shuō)有人企圖偷走這些鉆石台颠。

When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting on the airfield.
當(dāng)飛機(jī)到達(dá)時(shí)褐望，一些偵探等候在主樓內(nèi)，另一些偵探則守候在停機(jī)坪上串前。

Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House.
有兩個(gè)人把包裹拿下飛機(jī)譬挚，進(jìn)了海關(guān)。

While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel.
這時(shí)兩個(gè)偵探把住門口酪呻，另外兩個(gè)偵探打開(kāi)了包裹减宣。

To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!
令他們吃驚的是，那珍貴的包裹里面裝的全是石頭和沙子玩荠！

take碉就， carry盟广， bring的區(qū)別

take

表示“拿走”“帶走”，指從此處拿出去瓮钥。

Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House.
有兩個(gè)人把包裹拿下飛機(jī)筋量，進(jìn)了海關(guān)烹吵。
I forgot to take my bag with me when I got off the bus.
我下公共汽車時(shí)忘了拿包。
Take this to the bank for me, would you?
請(qǐng)?zhí)嫖野堰@送到銀行去好嗎桨武？

I did remember to take the present
我的確記得拿了禮物肋拔。

carry

指“隨身帶著”，沒(méi)有明確的方向性呀酸，同時(shí)強(qiáng)調(diào)體力方面的負(fù)擔(dān)只损，可代替bring和take。

I never carry much money on me.
我身上從不多帶錢七咧。
She carried her baby in her arms.
她懷里抱著她的寶
I always carry a portable computer with me.
我總是隨身攜帶一臺(tái)手提電腦跃惫。

bring

表示“拿來(lái)”，指從別處拿過(guò)來(lái)艾栋，方向一般是說(shuō)話者爆存，多指比較近的東西，也可以指帶到一個(gè)說(shuō)話人將要到達(dá)的地方蝗砾，有時(shí)還可指由說(shuō)話者隨身帶著(去某處)先较，可以包括“帶走”。

Don't forget to bring your books with you.
別忘了把書(shū)帶來(lái)悼粮。
I should be happy if you would bring them this evening
如果今晚你將他們帶來(lái)的話闲勺，我會(huì)很高興。
I hope this charm will bring luck to you.
我希望這個(gè)符咒會(huì)給你帶來(lái)好運(yùn)扣猫。

讓某人吃驚的是

To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!
令他們吃驚的是菜循，那珍貴的包裹里面裝的全是石頭和沙子！
To our surprise,the boy won the prize.
使我們度驚奇的是這個(gè)男孩獲獎(jiǎng)了申尤。

To my surprise, he finished the job in one day.
使我吃驚的是癌幕，他在一天之內(nèi)就把那項(xiàng)工作完成了。
