It’s so embarrassed tonight in the activity named MASQUE(a kind of dance with mask on face)at WORLD.I just stood in the dancing people and be frozen there.
Actually,I just want to have a look there at first because I did't wear a suit.So I was late for about half an hour.But my teacher Lily also allowed me in.And at the same time,there was also a girl come late,too.And Lily suggested we can be together to dance after a while.
After the introduce of the background of MASQUE from my teacher Matt,the dancing time coming.And the first step is showing how the ballroom dancing will be danced.To make sure,before the beginning of showing,I asked the girl if she would like to dance with me.”We’ll see”,she said with a low and a little cold voice without seeing me.Well…
And then the teacher taught us how to dance and then let us to choose a partner.I just stand there and don’t know if I should ask her again or choose others.But I don’t want to dance with her but I also afraid that if I choose others,she will feel sad.Her reply is hazy and I didn’t know if it was a refuse that time. Of course,my feeling is she don’t like to be together with me,but that feeling didn’t come to my consciousness that time,so I didn’t know what should to be done.
When I was thinking,most of the students have found a partner and they started to dance.So I sat on a chair near me and just watched them perplexed and embarrassed and the girl I have asked just sat somewhere but I don’t want to ask her again.So,I decided to choose others.
A moment later,I found anther girl stood in the group alone.So I went to her and asked her if she could be my partner.But the result is she has had a ?partner already and then went to him.Well...At that time,it seems that I can’t find a suitable place to stand naturally and I just feel like a foolish standing in a clump of dancing people.
I moved to the door,and there was a tall teenager girl standing and watching alone and that time,it seems that there only left the teenager and the first girl didn't have partner.
So,dance with the teenager?Is that really good?I asked myself.
No,I don’t dance with teenagers.
Fine,it’s OK.
“Hey,would you like be together with me?”I waved my hand to her and she waved her hand to me and say no shyly.
