實(shí)際上作者是一個(gè)什么人夹纫？網(wǎng)上有一篇博客文章這么寫道：
Self-help guru, absent father, cheating husband, excellent writer, self-centred prophet, genuine seeker after truth, a ‘decent person trying sometimes to be better’, a very wounded healer, a “bit of a shit”, a paradox.
But from the mid-nineties (I would guess) it emerged that Peck the man was very different from the message that he preached. He was, in the words of one reviewer, a ‘serial adulterer’, was addicted to gin and smoked a pack of cigarettes a day. He also had an estranged relationship with two of his three children.

從90年代中期開(kāi)始，這個(gè)作者就被人發(fā)現(xiàn)设凹，根本與他書里面寫的價(jià)值觀背道而馳舰讹！自己都調(diào)伏不了，還敢寫書要教別人闪朱！而2007年中國(guó)人還把它捧在手里月匣，書的封尾還寫道“這是一本震驚世界的名著”！——到底是什么方面震驚奋姿？是作者的欺騙性嗎锄开？
