今日靈感大爆發(fā)，起擬演講第二講初稿
CC2-《Dating with subway》
Maybe you see my subject title you must be very curious. I am sure you will say : what the hell!? Dating with subway? Are you crazy? I know almost people don’t like subway,,especially weekday,rush hour,and holiday time, almost the subway is "People mountain People sea" ?so why I say I have an appointment with subway?
Okay hold on dears. Let me tell you my story .
Before the speech I want to show you a picture. You can see these data,right? What’s meaning for these number? I will explain you.
I live in Gushu, Baoan district, a place which is close to airport , but I work in Laojie,Luohu district. So from Gushu to Laojie, I have to cross 3 districts, Nanshan district, Futian district and finally Luohu district. ?There are 26 stations from here to there. ?And one day , double 26, I have to take 52 stations everyday .
So, I have to spend more than three hours with the subway, isn't it like my boyfriend? So that way I say “Dating with subway”
Now you hear you will say OMG, unbelievable . Taking 52 stations per day! Perhaps you will say I am crazy . Even you will say Jessica you are stupid.
Or you will nice, giving me some suggestions
,like : ask me rent an apartment near my office ,
or :find a job near my house my family . :to chose a middle location between house and office.
YES indeed, I have considered these suggestions but also have anxiety surrounding my minds,.
For Plan A, if I rent an apartment near my office,I can save lots of time ,also is very good for company; but bad thing I far away my family, you know I have a young brother, an- 8 years -old boy, I love him so much, if I cannot see him I will miss him; For plan B, to chose a company close my family, actually I almost grow up in shenzhen, my childhood spent more time in baoan district, But I hardly didn’t go around, ?so when graduation, I tell myself I will find a job except baoan district.
So plan A&B doesn;t work;
maybe Plan C, ?I need to considerate for my next job ~haha
You must ask ?" what I am doing in subway?
To be honest, to beginning of half month, I always watching movie/ TV show,Playing the mobile game,Or chatting friends in We-chat or something else to spend my traffic time. I would download some tv show some movie in phone晋涣，and then I would enjoy in subway. Everyday I ?do same thing ,
but one day, ?I record a time of day. Let me feel upset. I found many time I waste I do many meaningless things . ?I know if I no change No take some action . I would blame myself in future . So I want to change . I want to do more meaningful things. So I pick up book ?want to book aspire me.
So far ,from leaving school to work , Just 9months now
When I make a book list which I have read ?during 9 months. I can't believe it! ?Nine months , total 10 books I already read, that mean each month I can read a book . This is such a big deal for me. You can't image ?before I don't like reading , picking up book just let me feel sleepy!
Now I can proud of sharing my achievement , this year,2016. the greatest achievement is formed the habit of reading!
People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world. But I don't think so. In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than anything else.The old saying“To open a book is always helpful”clearly shows us how good it is to read a book.
Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge.They lead us down the road to success.Books are our teachers. They teach us truth, science, literature, and philosophy of life, besides they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience, strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them.We have to learn as long as we live. But our life is limited, and the knowledge is boundless. There are many things which are very necessary to learn and there are also many which should be avoided. Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the good from the bad.
However sometime I will learn English in subway. I spent time to memorize some words. ?The second ?achievement I have done is I finished BEC intermediate vocabulary and Spanish basic vocabulary.
What's more, during the subway,I make lots of interesting friends. Some are curious about my book what I am reading. Some want to me recommend them leaning English app . Some foreigners think I am special I can read with crowed and noisy subway.
I met a gentleman from Australia . He is a teacher in Shenzhen university also he teaches student ukulele . He recommend me a very famous Book"The Law of Attraction ". This law is telling us everything every people we met is something connection . When you want sth. , all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. As long as you know where you are heading for, the whole world will show you the way.
Dating with subway make me grow up a lot . I love you Mr. Subway.
