唐朝王勃題《滕王閣序》原探，其中兩句：“落霞與孤鶩齊飛，秋水共長天一色”最為膾灸人口顽素，皆因為其對仗工整嚴謹咽弦，意境優(yōu)美如畫。既有音韻美胁出，也有視覺美型型。
同樣，英語中也有排比句和對比句全蝶。它們的特點是：句子結(jié)構(gòu)對稱闹蒜，詞匯簡練類似，但在語序或某些字眼上略作改動抑淫，形成鮮明的對比绷落，生龍活現(xiàn)地表達了某種哲理或觀點：
A man is a person who will pay two dollars for a one-dollar item he wants. A woman will pay one dollar for a two-dollar item she doesn’t want.
男人會花兩塊錢去買值一塊錢的東西，只要他用得著始苇；女人會花一塊錢去買值兩塊錢的東西砌烁，縱使她用不著。
In the old days, a girl married a guy for his money. Now, she divorces him for the same reason.
以前的女孩子為錢而結(jié)婚〈呤剑現(xiàn)在的女孩子為錢而離婚函喉。
Nowadays, we are kept alive by half of what we eat, and killed by the other half.
