Look at What You Find Along the Way
If you have ever been discouraged because of failure, please read on.For often, achieving what you set out to do is not the important thing. Let me explain.
Two brothers decided to dig a deep hole behind their house. As they were working, a couple of older boys stopped by to watch.
“What are you doing?” asked one of the visitors.
“We plan to dig a hole all the way through the earth!” one of the brothers volunteered excitedly·
The older boys began to laugh, telling the younger ones that digging a hole all the way through the earth was impossible·
After a long silence, one of the diggers picked up a jar full of spiders, worms and a wide assortment of insects. He removed the lid and showed the wonderful contents to the scoffing visitors.
Then he said quietly and confidently, “Even if we don’t dig all the way through the earth, look what we found along the way!”
Their goal was far too ambitious, but it did cause them to dig. And that is what a goal is for — to cause us to move in the direction we have chosen; in other words, to set us to digging!
But not every goal will be fully achieved. Not every job will end successfully. Not every relationship will endure. Not every hope will come to pass. Not every love will last. Not everyendeavor7 will be completed. Not every dream will be realized.
But when you fall short of your aim, perhaps you can say, “Yes, but look at what I found along the way!Look at the wonderful things which have come into my life because I tried to do something!”
It is in the digging that life is lived. And I believe it is joy in the journey, in the end, that truly matters.
思：
完成某件事情并不是最重要的，重要的是享受過程脾猛。在實(shí)現(xiàn)過程的途中我們會遇到很多有趣的東西～會收獲很多。
想要將地球挖一個(gè)洞垢夹，夢想何其遠(yuǎn)大，目標(biāo)何其宏偉。但至少他們都勇敢的朝著目標(biāo)去做了建车，雖然最后我們知道他們不可能將地球挖出一個(gè)洞，不可能實(shí)現(xiàn)他們的目標(biāo)椒惨，但是在實(shí)現(xiàn)目標(biāo)的這個(gè)過程中缤至，他們收獲了樂趣，收獲了之前人生中沒有遇見過的很多美妙的東西康谆。所以领斥，在這樣一個(gè)挖掘的過程中嫉到，最初的目標(biāo)，最終所要實(shí)現(xiàn)的結(jié)果便已然顯得不再那么重要了月洛。而享受過程何恶，享受過程帶給你的喜悅、帶給你的收獲膊存，便也已然比達(dá)到目標(biāo)导而，實(shí)現(xiàn)夢想更有趣更驚喜也更重要。
生命正如挖掘的過程隔崎，我們不要太過在意最后的結(jié)局，像掘地兄弟一樣好好享受挖掘的樂趣就好韵丑，好好享受生命的旅程爵卒，享受生命帶給我們的驚喜，熱情且欣喜的過好每一天撵彻，這樣钓株，它的意義遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)大于最后目標(biāo)的實(shí)現(xiàn)??????
