18montths ago, I was a entrepreneur who got defeated by Covid long lockdown. My dream was gone all of a sudden. I was destroyed. Always felt hopeless and helpless until I joined Toastmasters. Magically, I got cured by doing prepared speech! Maybe that’s because here is the only place people are still willing to listen to me, and even with respect .
What’s more is that I got fulfilled by contributing to my club. Lead my club from struggling for meetings to one most popular club. I got to know the meaning of my existing. I restarted to believe I am never useless. Especially, when some members said they joined us because of my influence. Surprisingly, one day, the president of another club approached me and said “ Angela, I made it! I listened to your words on COT which enlightened me!My club has been full of people for weeks now!Thank you so much!”Heard of this, I was so proud, surprised and in fact confused. Since I don’t remember her, let alone what I said to her! I doubt,doubt until I hear words like this more and more! I finally realize my energy, my experience and even my failures are all great fortune as long as getting together with right people.I am not perfect buy with you all. We are perfect!
18 months in toastmasters, I got the place to rest anytime I am exhausted from work.
