I have met a special cat, with the key word of "responsible" "sweet" "and "considerate".
When I was 5 years old, one day, my dad went to my grandma's and when he came back, there was a grey cat in his arms. The cat was a little bit old, my grandma had raised her for many years. My dad took her back because there were some tiny Mickey and Minnie in our yard in those days.
My sister and I were very excited - unexpectedly we got a pet! We tried to get close to the cat, touch her slightly and play with her, however, the cat didn't seem to be interested in that, she was just sitting there, silently and calmly.
Gradually we realized that our cat has her own character, she doesn't like playing. She is a quiet and mature cat, more like a dog.
Every day, she went out in the evening and came back early in the next morning to catch mice, protected the grains in the yards - not only ours but also the neighbors'.
There was a special small door in our window for the cat, every day, she walked through the door, going out and coming back, silently with power.
One year, the winter was extremely cold, when the cat worked outside酬滤，half of her ear was damaged by the bad weather. Since then, she has become a cat with a half ear. No complaint, no asking for reward, every day, the cat still went out in the evening and came back early in the next morning, working as usual, just like nothing happened. Is she a cat? She is a responsible soldier!
Spring was coming, but the weather was still cold. One morning, my mom was still asleep, she just felt something on her shoulder, warm and fluffy. She opened her eyes curiously and found the cat was lying on her uncovered shoulder, neither more nor less, just perfectly covered her shoulder. The cat heard my mom, opened her eyes, looked at my mom, slightly said "miao~", then closed her eyes, pretended to be asleep again. Is she a cat? She is a sweet angel!
Another day, I was very sad because of some misunderstanding between my best friend and I, I sat on the bed and can't help crying, the cat walked toward me, looked at me with emotion in her eyes, and said something to me in her own way (you know that). I felt she was asking me: "what happened? My little girl?" I told my sad story to her briefly, she still looked at me, then I suddenly found there were tears in her eyes, she cried together with me! I was so surprised and I temporally forgot my sadness, I held her up and gradually I felt better. Is she a cat? She is a considerate sister!
As time went by, the cat grew older and older, day by day. Later one day, the cat left us, peacefully in the night. The next morning my mom found her in the kitchen, the cat curled up herself on some warm plant ash, the comfortable place was chosen by the cat for herself.
A grey cat with a half ear, lived for 15 years with us in this world, left peacefully at home in the end.
Many years passed, I never meet this kind of cat again, responsible like a soldier, sweet like an angel, considerate like a sister.
Sometimes I thought maybe one day she would come to this world again with a totally different appearance. Can I meet her again? If yes, I must try my best to protect her this time, love her, feed her, never let any part of her body be hurt again, never, ever.
I miss her until now.
