1. 夾住 to put or hold something in a position so that it cannot move
eg: She clamped her hands over her ears.
2. 制裁七蜘、處罰 clamp sanctions/restrictions etc on somebody
to put limits on what someone is allowed to do
eg: The president clamped sanctions on the island after the bomb attack.
總統(tǒng)在炸彈襲擊后對(duì)該島實(shí)施了制裁谭溉。
