1.?My two cents
直譯我的兩分錢,其實(shí)指的是我的一點(diǎn)建議/想法 (my opinion)缀辩。
"I choose to listen before I add my two cents."
?2.?On the same page
都在一頁紙上(據(jù)說最早源自合唱時(shí)大家都用一樣的歌譜)臭埋,就是大家想法一致或獲得的信息一致(have the same understanding or amount of knowledge)。
"We all need to be on the same page before we present this idea to the clients."
3.?Give somebody a heads up
預(yù)先通知一下 (give someone a preliminary notice)雌澄。
"I just want to give you a heads up that we will have review session in the next class."
?4.?Action item
任務(wù)/事項(xiàng)(task)。 最常用的是在會議結(jié)束前列出action item list (任務(wù)清單)杯瞻,且經(jīng)常列出每個(gè)任務(wù)的執(zhí)行人/責(zé)任人是誰镐牺。
"Here are the new action items from the customer meeting."
5.?Think outside the box?
跳出特定的思維定式,展開新的思路 (think creatively)魁莉。也可說成 "think out of the box"睬涧。?
"It is important for businesses and banks to think outside the box and be flexible."
?6.??Low-hanging fruit
"Pick the low-hanging fruit" 就是先從離地面比較近的開始采摘募胃,然后采摘離地面高的,即先完成容易實(shí)現(xiàn)的目標(biāo) (a thing or person that can be won, obtained, or persuaded with little effort)畦浓。
"Let's start with the low-hanging fruit before the more difficult projects."

坐在直升機(jī)上鳥瞰痹束,表示視野寬廣,宏觀看待全局(a broad view of the business)讶请。
"He was executive assistant to the chief operating officer, a position that gave him a helicopter view of the sprawling company."

基本算是個(gè)俚語祷嘶,不正式,意思是支持(support)夺溢。
"We need to get buy-in from upper management. "

具有開創(chuàng)性的, 最先進(jìn)的 (innovative)论巍。
"The scientists are employing cutting-edge technology."
?10.??Raise the bar?
跳高時(shí),每成功越過一個(gè)高度风响,竿就升高一些嘉汰。"Raise the bar" 在日常用語中就是提高標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的意思 (raise the standard)。
"For more than 20 years, Pixar animated movies have raised the bar when it comes to creativity and storytelling."

重點(diǎn)状勤,最主要的觀點(diǎn)/信息鞋怀。一般指在會議,學(xué)習(xí)持搜,閱讀后得到的最關(guān)鍵的東西 (important points)密似。

"Streamline"是指在設(shè)計(jì)上減少阻力,讓水流或氣流通暢流動《浣耄現(xiàn)在泛指為簡化辛友,精簡 (to improve the efficiency of a process)。
"The agency is planning to streamline the application procedure."?
