The Oxen and the Axle—Trees
A heavy wagon was being dragged along a country lane by a team of oxen. The axle—trees groaned and creaked terribly; whereupon the oxen, turning round, thus addressed the wheels: “hello there! Why do you make so much noise? We bear all the labor, and we, not you, ought to cry out.”
Those who suffer most cry out the least.
公牛與車(chē)軸
幾頭公牛正使勁拉著貨車(chē)在鄉(xiāng)間公路上行走，車(chē)軸被壓得發(fā)出吱吱的響聲取具，挪绷ィ回過(guò)頭，對(duì)車(chē)軸說(shuō)道：“喂暇检，朋友产阱，我們無(wú)聲無(wú)息負(fù)擔(dān)著全部重量，你叫喚什么呢块仆？”
那些努力干活的人說(shuō)的卻是最少的构蹬。
