Strange it feels like people by their imagination create things in their mind that later takes place in the physical world..
It's like in a story about a man who by accident got to the heaven. Whatever came into his mind would eventually take its place in reality. At the beginning he was wishing for pleasant things only. But once he got the idea that some misfortune could happen to him...and it did. One misfortune followed by another. He felt he wasn't able control the situation but in fact he was the one responsible for whatever happened to him...
Weird idea...but is it possible by creating movies about the future we literally make the future...?
