一醉途、審題與構(gòu)思

本文的英文原題是：Some people believe that newspaper is the best way to learn about news, while others believe that more effective way is through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

從題目中可以看出這是一道媒體類雙邊討論題易结。題目要求對最佳新聞媒體進(jìn)行對比分析并給出作者自己的意見抱完。

按照這類討論題的一般思路，我打算采取一邊倒的方法選擇支持其他媒體作為更有效的獲取信息的渠道。

二殴穴、定稿及總結(jié)

其實(shí)本文我已于昨天寫過初稿躏精，但對比其他同題目范文自覺問題較大，所以我決定在借鑒他人文稿的基礎(chǔ)上瞬测，今天用完全相反的思路重寫一篇短文。這樣做會多花一些時(shí)間和精力，但是對我摸索考試作文撰寫規(guī)律會有一些幫助仿滔，所以是非常值得去做的。以下就是我的全新的最后定稿犹芹。

Newspaper used to be considered as the most popular and reliable source of information for the general public yet it is increasingly overtaken by other news media outlets like television, internet podcasts, online news institutions etc. in terms of popularity and influence in recent decades. Although some loyalists of the print media still rely on it for news consumption, I believe that traditional newspaper is gradually phasing out of our life and vote for the other forms of media as more effective way to access information.

The main reason why many people prefer newspaper to modern news media is that newspaper is more trustworthy and informative in its news delivery. Serious powerful national newspapers often devote several departments, long period of time, effort and huge financial resources to investigating some crucial news cases, managing to put up insightful report and making positive impact on the solution of the issue under spotlight and even bringing about right changes in the society. A notable example is the year-long coverage and exposing of the sexual abuse case of a Catholic Church in America by a famous newspaper group in the West. Nevertheless newspaper is weak in reporting news in time and nicknamed as story of yesterday. What’s more, it costs money and not free. In addition, it’s not readily available and convenient to carry around. On account of the above drawbacks, newer media modes naturally gain an upper hand nowadays.

In spite of the fact that other newer media forms such as internet television, social media news outlet or some digital online video news sources are not as credible, financially capable, dedicated or even professional like the newspaper industry, they perform much better as for the timeliness and range of multi-model platforms to cover the news story. They are hence called story of here and now as well as voices of grassroots which are usually regarded as more down to the earth and believable to a certain extent. A textbook example is the whistleblowing social media chemical factory poisonous gas emission leak in a small country in South Asia several years ago. However we news readers should also be aware of the fake news and false story spread by some social media accounts who are only keen on increasing their internet traffic, beating their competitors for the scoop and failing to cast a critical eye on whatever leaks they hoard.

In conclusion, newspaper has become the thing of the past with numbered days and is due to be supplanted by the various new media formats which are more efficient, convenient and effective in the coming future. What should we do now is to carry forward the serious and responsible investigative journalism legacy of the traditional newspaper trade, integrate the benefits and deter the risk of over-information and false information negative aspects spotted in the more innovative media modes in our modern era.
