I'm on and off for my daily UI design project, but I'm determined to finish it, however long it takes. Today's topic is a home monitoring dashboard.
I scrabbled thoughts on paper to see what makes sense to draw. Finally, I landed on a concept of monitoring temperature, humidity and air quality. I thought of air quality because I heard from my family (in China) that lately, it's been lots of air pollution and they rarely open the windows. However, shutting down windows can not simply shut down air circulation.
I imagine that aside from my dashboard, there's a device with camera that I can monitor home, possibly rotatable, so that I can see my home from different angles. It should connect to A/C and humidity control device, so that I can adjust the temperature and humidity to be the most comfortable. I imagine it's connected to an air purifier as well, so that when the interior air quality is below "Good", the purifier can kick in and help improve the air quality.
