Write a letter to the director of your company to recommend a group in your local community which deserves help. In your letter, you should tell:
· why you suggest to help this group
· how your company can help this group
· what the bene?ts your company will in return for.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to recommend an education program in my local community.

The program was initiated by a few local residents, which aims to design college tours for middle school and high school students. The group leader recently gave a speech in a fund raising event, saying the younger generation should gain more motivation through exploring their future colleges and having a goal to fight for. I believe this is also the same vision that our company's fund was set up for.

In order to offer our help, the reasonable amount of fund could be released for their tour expense. And some volunteer hours could be considered as well since a lot of employees like me are eager to talk to those teenagers and share our learning along the way.

In return, the group's wide connection with college leaders can help with our annual campus hiring event. There are plenty of information sessions that we can schedule to promote our own company, the products and the culture.

More and more people are using computers and electric devices to access information, so there is no need for printed books, magazines and newspaper. To what extent do you agree or disagree欲虚？

It is true that the accelerated Internet development has brought significant convenience for the access to all kinds of information. While some people believe that printed materials are no long needed, I completely agree with those who are still fond of traditional copies.

In this digital era, people benefit the efficiency of obtaining information from electric devices. As long as the key words are typed in search engine, there will be tons of relevant links popped out almost immediately. Breaking news around the world can be sent as notification to our mobile phone so as to keep us updated in time. The sooner we are notified, the sooner we can take actions. For example, during the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, even the government sent out updates through their official social media account.

However, printed books, magazines, and newspaper better prevent readers from distraction. Books are published with strict typo checking and editing, which ensure high content quality and comfortable reading experience. Unlike the internet, where everyone is free to post anything including the fake news, published copies written by accountable authors are less likely to be a waste of time. Schools still suggest students buy printed exercise books because on the one hand, it is easier to make notes on real paper, on the other hand, concentration can be improved without the interference from social media push or instant message from friends.

In conclusion, I believe that printed books, magazines, newspaper are still indispensable for knowledge acquiring in this modern society.
