One of the most influential approaches in personality science is known as trait psychology(特質(zhì)心理學(xué)）。
特質(zhì)心理學(xué)通過五個(gè)維度對你進(jìn)行定義哎媚，這些也正是人和人之間產(chǎn)生差異的原因忽你。
It aligns you along five dimensions which are normally distributed, and that describe universally held aspects of difference between people.
They spell out the acronym "OCEAN". 這五個(gè)維度簡稱為“OCEAN”宗侦。
1. O stands for "open to experience". O的意思是開懷擁抱各種經(jīng)歷
O versus those who are more closed. Openness and conscientiousness are very good predictors of life success, but the open people achieve that success through being audacious.
2. C stands for "conscientiosness". C的意思是有意識地。
?C in contrast to those with a more lackadaisical approach to life. The conscientious people achieve it through sticking to deadlines, to persevering, as well as having some passion.
3. E stands for "extroversion". E的意思是外向嗅剖。
E in contrast to more introverted people. Extroversion and agreeableness are both aonducive to working well with people.
4. A stands for "agreeable individuals". A是指討好型人格辩越。
A in contrast to those decidedly not agreeable.
5. N stands for neurotic individuals. N為神經(jīng)質(zhì)。
N in contrast to those who are more stable.
All of these dimensions have implications for our well-being, for how our life goes.
The extroversion is consequential and intriguing and helps us understand what I call our three natures.
First: Our biogenic nature--our neurophysiology.

Third: What makes you individually--idio syncratic.

One of the things that characterized extroverts is they need stimulation that can be achieved by finding things that are exciting.
The introverts are more likely to spend time in the quite spaces.
We communicate differently, extroverts and introverts.
Extroverts, when they interact, want to have lots of social encounter punctualed by closeness and they prefer black-and-white, concrete, simple language.
Introverts prefer contextually complex, contingent, weasel word sentences.
