eRedcap 概述
3GPP release18 標(biāo)準(zhǔn)對(duì)標(biāo)LTE 的Cat1bis的NR演進(jìn)轩触,在release17的Redcap UE的基礎(chǔ)上兔毒,提出支持rel18的Redcap UE信粮,也稱為eRedcap UE姨俩,實(shí)現(xiàn)進(jìn)一步降低數(shù)據(jù)速率(不超過10Mbps)匆赃,降低終端成本的要求鸟赫。
在參考文獻(xiàn)[1],3GPP 38.865蒜胖,“Study on further NR Redcap UE complexity reduction” 中,各個(gè)公司從3個(gè)方面提出了進(jìn)一步降低數(shù)據(jù)速率和成本的方法:
(1)Reduction of Bandwidth to 5MHz in FR1抛蚤,包括 RF bandwidth or BB bandwith? or restrictied bandwidth of PDSCH and PUSCH
(2)Reduction of Peak Data Rate in FR1
(3)Relax of Process Timeline for PDSCH and/or PUSCH and/or CSI
最終rel18 協(xié)議采用了其中的兩種方案:
(1)FG 48-1: Redcap UE with reduced peak data rate and reduced baseband bandwidth in FR1 (reduction BW3 + reduction PR1 )
這種UE需要對(duì)協(xié)議標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和基站部署進(jìn)行一定的修改台谢,但是可以獲得更大的復(fù)雜度的降低
射頻帶寬:20MHz;
基帶帶寬:PDSCH/PUSCH:5MHz(SCS 15Hz: 25PRBs岁经; SCS 30KHz: 12PRBs)
峰值速率:
主要可以降低復(fù)雜度的部分是:
LDPC decoding + HARQ buffer + UL processing block
Post FFT data? buffering + Receive processing block
(2)FG 48-2 Redcap UE with reduced peak data rate without reduced baseband bandwidth in FR1 (only reduction PR1 )
這種UE 對(duì)gNB的調(diào)度和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)規(guī)定的影響最小朋沮,可實(shí)現(xiàn)快速部署。

總結(jié)
從上述協(xié)議介紹看,eRedcap UE 主要時(shí)針對(duì)PDSCH/PUSCH的bit級(jí)處理做了復(fù)雜度的減少塘慕,與Rel17 同等條件(相同的RX 和QAM調(diào)制)相比較筋夏,減少~8% (BW+PR),或者減少~4%(PR only)图呢,復(fù)雜度的減少并不多条篷。
考慮到對(duì)LTE Cat1bis的演進(jìn),以及未來雙模的支持蛤织,eRedcap更有可能支持 1Rx拥娄,而其UL可以獲得比Cat1bis更高的速率。
