2.目前狀況:
Within retail banking,high-profile new entrants are beginning to emerge whilst many others are waiting in the wings, ready to take advantage of the current vulnerablities of traditional banks. Whilst they may face high barriers to entry, in terms of capital and regulatory requirements, they come to the market unbridled with negative perceptions and offer a freshness and innovative customer propssition.
1.supermarket banks
優(yōu)勢:
(1)不需要establish a costly high street presence 因為有ready-made retail branch network(open 24*7+car park facilities+extensive marketing resources)
(2)定點植入式廣告全覆蓋,且成本小
(3)loyalty scheme直接轉(zhuǎn)換為financial products汉操,推廣流暢。
經(jīng)歷:
獨立:超市銀行從和金融機構合作,到獨立出來辛燥,自成一家。
認可不夠:被金融危機波及小缝其,也避開了PPI的坑挎塌。但是在消費者之間的認可度仍然不是很高。not in a trustworthy position.
創(chuàng)新:自己的支付系統(tǒng)和app: PayQwiq内边。綁卡榴都,為400磅以下的訂單 pay contactless。有點APP上免密支付的感覺漠其。
業(yè)務進展:
avoid costly money transmission accounts -> market-lending high-interest-earning saving accounts, credit cards and personal loans -> mortgage+ simple insurance products.
