Part 1 Cook delicious food.

If time allows and no one disturbs me, I really like to cook for the people I love.

Part 2 Traveling.

From Jul. 8th to Jul. 18th, we went to visit three places-Nanjing(Xichen and I visited there the 2nd time), Tianjin and Jinan. We stayed in each city for about three days.

The first stop-Nanjing.

Nanjing is a city full of culture and historical significance. It is said that people (no matter old or young)in Nanjing work and attach importance to children's learning. They are self-strong and self-independence. We can hardly see them play cards or dance in the park, which makes Nanjing really a strong, clean, powerful and great city. It happened to rain heavily there. One the one hand, such weather made it a nice temperature to travel. On the other hand, I had to hold an umbrella and hold Mumu at the same time in order not to let him get wet. Places of interests in nanjing were full of people. Some of them are free to get into, but we have to reserve before. The problem is that it is very difficult for us to reserve tickets successfully, especially the tickets of Nanjing Museum and Nanjing Zhongshan Mausoleum. Through arduous trys and ways, we booked the tickets luckily. We paid to visit Nanjing Museum through different ways. Visiting Nanjing is like facing history. History makes us strong. You will be beaten if you fall behind.

The second stop-Tianjin.

Tianjin is near Beijing. It's the back garden of Beijing. It is a city near the sea. However the ares near the sea are not so developed compared to urban areas, they are in suborbs. My children like sea, so we just spent our time playing near the sea areas. The days we spent there were almost cloudy. We felt cool. We just passed by the city areas. They basked in the happiness of catching crabs and sea snails. We were lucky to book tickets of National Maritime Museum of China, inside which we learned a lot about our ocean, earth and the universe. After we went out of National Marime Musuem in Tianjin,? Mumu saw a moon hanging in the sky. He compared it to a peacock. I did not understand. A few seconds later, I got it. Isn't the shape of a peacock's spreading tai like the moon?

The third stop-Jinan.

Speaking of Jinan, we will think of Laoshe's article "Jinan in spring". We went there in summer. I could only feel Jinan in summer. It was a little hot but not as hot as that in Hunan. Jinan is famous for springs. The water in springs are so cool that I felt cold when I put my feet in it. The water in springs are so clean that we can see the bottom of the spring. The fish and the grass are very clear in the bottom of the springs. We visited Daming Lake, Fohui Mountain, Qianfi Mountain, and Five Dragons Pools. Xichen and Mumu climbed to the top of the Fohui Mountain all by themselves. Xichen and Mumu had a very good time in Five Dragons Pools. They played in the cool spring water. In Qianfo Mountain in Jinan, we saw a millepede, to which Mumu compared to a high-speed train. They are both long.

The fourth stop on Aug. - Zhuhai

Dongao Island is an island 50 minutes' ship ride away from the mainland. We started from Xiangzhou Harbor. I forgot a bag of snacks that I bought from Zhuzhou betore our travel because of my poor memory. It's ok that snacks were lost. That every member of my family is here with me is the most important thing. Zhuhai is a very beautiful city with gentle wind and amiable temperature. Coconut trees standing straight along the road are a beautiful tropical sight. My children were excited to see the beach. Playing in the sea and feeling the wide view of the sea made them extraordinarily happy. The water, the sand and the sea wind add colors to their summer holiday. I think they will face their kindergarten or school life with hope and strength. The meaning of travel is to see ourselves as we see the sky, see the land, see the world and see the people. It was rainy and cloudy in Dongao Island the second? day.? It was cool. The sea tide was rising, so the water activities were canceled. We couldn't swim in the water neither, but we can walk along the seasbore, feel the waves and sand. In the afternoon we left the island.We visited Sun-moon shell. Spectacular shape of the building was full of science factors.We spent a whole day in Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and experienced a wonderful journey, especially the last fireworks with lights, musical spring and flying men.

Several years before, the food in scenic spots were considered to be very expensive but not tasty. Now I think the food in scenic spots were expensive but authentic. Although it's expensive, it's worthy of the quality and it is worth a try. Some food are impressive such as the internet-famous shop Li Baixie in Nanjing, seafood in Tianjin, barbecue in Jinan. The hotel breakfast is better. People cook noodles by themselves in some hotel canteens. I did it once. By the way, the cakes and the big squid in National Maritime Museum of China is nice.

Tips:

Travel especially in summer holiday, we should make strategies in advance. Such as train or plane tickets, hotel reservation, tourism entrance tickets and so on. We should search some information about how to visit the scenic spots better, so we will make few detours.

Part 3 Learn and play at home.

Part 4 Stay with my relative in Yiyang.

Part 5 Mumu is going to the kindergarten.

The life in summer holiday is not perfect and totally harmonious. We argued and had contradictions many times. Many problems appeared during our playtime. We just relieved feelings and strived to solve problems. Children are naughty and adults should be calm and control ourselves. They will grow up. The childlife will accompany them all the lifetime. When things are gone, everything is nothing. Make better plans next summer holiday. Live and learn.
