今天一覺(jué)醒來(lái)已經(jīng)8點(diǎn)多了，跟著一天的忙碌打亂了早晨就閱讀分享的計(jì)劃芋浮。不過(guò)還是趁著中午吃過(guò)飯啃了十頁(yè)書(shū)抱环，我明天一定要早晨早起就閱讀進(jìn)行分享。今天的部分讀到了Sethe和好友Paul D的對(duì)話中纸巷，引發(fā)出了Sethe對(duì)未來(lái)的暢想镇草，極不情愿之下的一同出游，讓Sethe對(duì)live a life有了更深的思考瘤旨。在上一次和Denver的對(duì)話中梯啤，Sethe提到了自己對(duì)時(shí)間思考和過(guò)去做過(guò)的事情所留下的記憶和產(chǎn)生的影響，讓她自己對(duì)某些事情無(wú)法釋?xiě)汛嬲埽@次Paul D 的話因宇，讓自己仿佛對(duì)未來(lái)重新有了再定義的可能性。
分享一個(gè)語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)：
at bay?

我們知道bay是海灣的意思祟偷，一開(kāi)始我也誤以為at bay應(yīng)該就是在海灣羽嫡，那應(yīng)該是安全、穩(wěn)定相關(guān)的意思肩袍。但是今天閱讀Eric的文章杭棵，閱讀中每次重要的詞匯和語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)往往不是生詞，而是自己認(rèn)識(shí)卻可能并不能準(zhǔn)確知道的語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)。比如這里魂爪，at bay指控制住先舷、使遠(yuǎn)離的意思。
在free dictionary中也有這樣的解釋：
keep (someone or something) at bay
To keep something at a distance from oneself, especially that which is harmful or unpleasant; to control something in order to keep it from doing harm to oneself.
