Done my first half marathon

I planned half marathon before but I never managed to finish it because I am too lazy and I always make a dicison all the time but never managed to finish it for most of them, sometimes I just forget about it but most of the time i just find excuse. It is too easy to find a excuses and it seems like that's all coded to my personality. too many dreams but too little to make things come true.

I never thought it was a problem util I get a real setback recently and I get sometime to reflect my entire life, to trying find out why I am alway not satisfy with myself but always not find a way to change it. I realise that if I want to be someone who is confident, hardcore, opinitive person who can incouraging people not because of her passion but also because of her expertis. One thing i should conquer is change too quickly.

Every change is not easy, be aware it, make dicision and take action. I think I can start from some physical changes like finish something I wish to do but never managed to, I registed marathon and start training. I do skip some training section but I kept for most of the time.?

One day before the event, the weather report shows it would be rain, I do feel sick and dizzy for all week, I thought seriously about quit as it would be easier for me to do it next time when everything is perfect. but I told myself just go, no matter what, at least I can finish the race and it already an achievement for me.

During the run, I felt good at the very beginning but I was tired after server up and down from the hill. I saw 2:10 racer at first half, so I thought I would follow 2:10 racer at the first half, if I get tired at the second half, I could still managed to get 2:20 maybe. things getting more interesting as when came to second half, I run ahead of 2:10 racer instead of getting more distance with them. 8k left. 5 k left. more close the end line, I saw more people start to walk. then I made another decision is that I never walk one step for this time. util 2 km, I felt really tired and start to counting the electric piles as a distance counts. finally I went to the end, one thing that I never thought about is that I finish the whole seciont within 2:06 mins, and my pace was 6:02 min/kilometer. It was amazing that I never managed to get 6:02 pace during 10k, not mention 21k. and the second best pace was 6:30 for most of the time.

It was uplifting and I have a lot of fun while pain and endure?

Thoughts

1. keep smiling even during a hard time.

During the whole seciont of half marathon, when i felt tired, I tell myself kept smile and it worked really well as when I smile, I felt I get more energy back and the hard things are not that hard anymore.

2. Never give up and never find an excuse for myself.

Never change the goal, change the approcah.
