1. 虛擬語氣：
?虛擬語氣用來表示假想裸卫，而不表示客觀存在的事實哗蜈，所說的是一個條件协怒，不一定是事實涝焙，
?或與事實相反。虛擬語氣通過謂語動詞的特殊形式來表示孕暇。
? (1) 將來時的條件句中的虛擬語氣仑撞。如：
If he should go to Qing Hua University, he would make full use of his time. 如果他要上清
華大學的話，他就會充分利用他的時間了妖滔。
If he were to come here, he would tell us about it. 如果他要來的話隧哮，他會通知我們一聲。
(2) 現(xiàn)在時的條件句中的虛擬語氣座舍。如：
If he were free, he would help us. 要是他有空的話沮翔，它會幫助我們的。
If he studied at this school, he would know you well. 如果他在這所學校學習的話曲秉，它會對
你很熟悉采蚀。
(3) 過去時的條件句中的虛擬語氣。如：
If I had seen the film, I would have told you about it. 我如果看過這場電影承二，我會把電影內(nèi)
容告訴你了榆鼠。
If I had got there earlier, I would have met Mr. Li. 如果我早點到那兒，我就會會到了李先
生亥鸠。
2. Case closed本來指法庭結案妆够，此處延伸為到此為止。
?類似的表達還有close a deal：完成交易。
?不論是案子還是交易责静，從最初立案/下定金到最終徹底了結袁滥，都有一個漫長的過程，而close
?則表明流程全部走完灾螃，徹底結束题翻。

4. ? A thing of the past:過去的事情eg. Telegraph has already become a thing of the past.

Contradictions are a permanent part of human condition. We pursuit and create something of sublime beauty. We pray and love in the name of dignity. We want something basically human in our daily life. At the same time, we behave like beasts. We kill and destroy, even hate. We witness, suffer or experience so many personal tragedies and group catastrophes. Maybe, the only thing we can do about it is to remind ourselves of the contradictions and never give up fighting.
