With the rapid development of human assisted reproductive technology, it has been gradually applied to clinical practice. As an outcome of the clinical practice of reproduction technology, the existence of surrogacy gives rise to the disputes in traditional moral concepts of human. Surrogacy is prohibited legally in China, for it violates the principle of public order and has a sharp crash to traditional morality and legal system. But from where I stand, surrogacy should be legalized for it can be beneficial to vindicate human’s basic rights, promote the development of economy, and maintain the social stability.

? The legalization of surrogacy can protect human’s basic rights. The right of procreation is a right conferred by lay to the married people and other women to decide whether to procreate and how to procreate. In recent years, the advancement of technology provides humans with various reproductive ways, such as the in-vitro fertilization and embryo donation, whose aims are also in a par with the surrogacy to have a baby. Since we have highly accepted the test-tube baby with pleasure, we should also approve and legalize the surrogacy.

? The liberal laws concerning surrogacy benefits to the economic growth. It can’t be denied that the aging of population sharply augments the financial burden on society. In order to soften this blow, the advocation of surrogacy is inevitable, for it gives great help to mitigate aging problems which can adjust the population structure.（楊遂全军俊、鐘凱.para4） In that case, the absence of labor forces in our society also can be solved. As a result, give the go-ahead for surrogacy legally flats out gainful to boost our economic development.

? Making the surrogacy legally can contribute to the maintenance of social stability. In Chinese traditional values, the conventional family life should take the responsibility of the continuation of blood line, which means that the child is the cornerstone in family life.（顧莉.para2） But in recent years, the infertile family and the losing-single-child family gradually become an austere problem. No one wants to live without a child, and many couples break up for not having a baby. As a result, the call for having a baby by surrogacy is the trend to vindicate the harmony of family life, which can reduce the social divorce rate and maintain the stability of our society.

? In a nutshell, the legalization of surrogacy should be prized, not despised. Nothing becomes an issue until and unless it perturbs the human existence completely. And I firmly back up the legalization on the usage of surrogacy technology, because it can not only protect our basic rights, but also avail to the advancement of economy and the maintenance of social stability.
