Most music has a regular pulse to it. Some music, Gregorian chant, forexample, doesn’t have a beat. In classical music, there is a beat, which isoften supressed or subdued.
The units of 2,3: “music in duple/triple metre”.
The line that separates the groups are called bar lines or measure lines.(小節(jié)線)
Each unit constitutes a bar or a measure.(小節(jié))
The two axes/coordinates of music: pitch and duration. (sound and time)
記譜法的起源:公元900年的修道院(從小蝌蚪文成了分離的符號)– 1200~1600年的完善(逐漸從只有pitch到加上了duration)倒彰。
Syncopation is hearing an accent off the beat.
Downbeat: the most stressed and always the first sound of everymeasure.
