我的聽(tīng)寫
Fear, treachery, blood lust.
Thousands of years ago, these were the forces that ruled our world.
A world where prey were scared of predators.
And predators had an uncontrollable biological urge to mate and more(maim and maul) and...
Blood, blood, blood. And death.
Back then the world was divided in two: vicious predator or meat prey(meek prey).
我的心得
1 maim和maul這2個(gè)單詞不認(rèn)識(shí), 根據(jù)語(yǔ)境推斷出是prey或hunt的意思, 但是沒(méi)有能聽(tīng)出這兩個(gè)單詞, more和maul感覺(jué)好難區(qū)分.
2 meek這個(gè)單詞知道但不熟悉, 這樣前后2個(gè)短語(yǔ)更加對(duì)稱, 都是adj+n
