I am Julie. Our affirmative team strongly support this resolution. We have four reasons: popularity, color, taste and Chairman Mao's words.
Our first point is popularity. Sichuan food is popular in our whole country. It is one of the four major cuisines of China.
There are many Sichuan food restaurants in every places of China. So many people like the spicy taste of Sichuan food.
For example, Yu-Shiang Shredded Pork, Spicy diced chicken with peanuts are most popular dishes in our country.
Our second point is color. Sichuan food looks better than Dong Bei food. It has beautiful color, especially the red pepper. It makes the dish more beautiful.

I can't agree with the affirmative debaters’opinion because Dongbei food is very popular in China and also looks beautiful.

The survey is not important because the people who are investigated are unable to represent the majority.
Data from National Tourism Bureau shows that Sichuan food is one of the four major cuisines. But Dongbei food is just called the ninth cuisine.
Sichuan food has unique taste. It uses pepper in a fantastic way. Many people don't like eat things in summer.
But you will see that many people eat hot pot, even though they are sweating profusely.
Chairman Mao said that I believe that Chinese medicine and Sichuan cuisine will be China's two major contributions to the world.

My name is Jay and I am the negative team's second speaker. I do not agree with Alex’s opinion. I think his opinion is not exactly true.
Many people choose Dongbei food in summer for its light taste. The taste and color of Dongbei food is also very good,
and the northeast food is more nutritious, the northeast area has carp, mushrooms. These are good for our health.
According to the survey, most people choose to eat more nutritious food for their health.
We debated with popularity, taste and nutrition.
In a word, we showed that the northeast cuisine is more advantageous than sichuan food in terms of nutrition,
so we think the northeast cuisine is better than sichuan food.
