問題一:如何表達在某方面有麻煩俭令?

1. rare adj. 罕見的

2. ancient adj. 古代的

3. myth n. 神話、傳說

-You always pretend that you know every ancient myth.

4. trouble n. 麻煩抄腔、困難

-have trouble with sth. 在某方面有麻煩
-When I was still in school, I always had trouble with math.
-I have trouble with my parents.

5. effect n. 效果

-have no effect 沒有后果
-This doesn't have any effect.

6. Medusa Gorgon n. 美杜莎

-Many children want to listen some stories about Medusa.

問題三:定語從句瓢湃?

-n. + 定語從句
-一句漢語變成兩句英文
-確定被修飾詞
-確定who/which/that/whom
-確定是否可以省略(替代賓語)
-who/whom/which/that替代被修飾詞,并提句首
-定語從句緊跟被修飾詞
-替代主語用who/that/which
-替代賓語用whom/that/who

ex:
1.住在隔壁的男人是一個醫(yī)生赫蛇。
S1: The man is a doctor.
S2: The man lives next door.
-The man who lives next door is a doctor.

2.我們認(rèn)識許多住在倫敦的人绵患。
S1: We know a lot of people.
S2: They live in London.
-We know a lot of people who live in London.

3.發(fā)生故障的那個機器已經(jīng)被修理好了。
S1: The machine has been repaired.
S2: The machine broke down.
-The machine which broke down has been repaired.

  1. 我想見的那個女人去度假了悟耘。
    S1: I wanted to see that woman.
    S2: The woman was away on holiday.
    -The woman (who) I wanted to see was away on holiday.

問題四:whose引導(dǎo)的定從落蝙?

-whose-誰的

ex:
S1: We saw some people.

S4: I met somebody.

課文:

Jasper White is one of those rare people who believes in ancient myths. He has just bought a new house in the city, but ever since he moved in, he has had trouble with cars and their owners. When he returns home at night, he always finds that someone has parked a car outside his gate. Because of this, he has not been able to get his own car into his garage even once. Jasper has put up 'No Parking' sings outside his gate, but these have not had any effect. Now he has put an ugly stone head over the gate. It is one of the ugliest faces I have ever seen. I asked him what it was and he told me that it was Medusa, the Gorgan. Jasper hopes that she will turn cars and their owners to stone. But none of them has been turned to stone yet!
