Camp "Crazy About Science! 2017" came to an end last Friday. The campers had many things to showcase about what they had learned in Science, Robotics, Art, Sports, and American Culture.
瘋狂科學(xué)營(yíng)2017已于上周五圓滿結(jié)束！在為期3周的營(yíng)會(huì)中桂敛，孩子們收獲頗多信卡。
The students explored the Scientific Method and biomes of the earth. Also, they created their own "fireworks," and designed an impact-reducing holder for a falling egg. The most magical project they did was planting seeds and watching them sprout. Older campers learned about the components of robots and took on the challenge of programming an M-bot.
在主題科學(xué)課上全度，他們了解了什么是科學(xué)方法娶聘，探索了神奇的科學(xué)原理闻镶，學(xué)習(xí)了植物的生長(zhǎng)變化，并親自將種子種下并觀察其發(fā)芽的過(guò)程丸升，還自制雪花铆农，煙花及減震器。值得一提的是发钝，高年級(jí)學(xué)生在額外的機(jī)器人課上研究各個(gè)組成的零部件顿涣，并學(xué)著為機(jī)器人編程波闹，讓它們走出五花八門的路線酝豪。
In Art class, students finger-painted and drew landscapes as they learned about background, middle ground, and foreground. With the knowledge of perspective, color and impressionism, they created their own masterpiece.
藝術(shù)課上，孩子們?cè)趯W(xué)習(xí)了前景精堕、中景和背景后孵淘，用自己的手指，畫出美麗的風(fēng)景歹篓。他們運(yùn)用在課上所學(xué)到的關(guān)于視角瘫证、顏色及印象派的知識(shí)揉阎，創(chuàng)作出了自己獨(dú)特的作品。
In Sports, students have been working out and building coordination in preparation for practicing baseball, basketball, and American football.? The class also included smaller activities, such as American foursquareball, hula hooping and bowling.
在體育課上背捌，孩子們?cè)诶蠋煹膸ьI(lǐng)下毙籽，通過(guò)棒球、籃球和美式橄欖球球賽加強(qiáng)了身體協(xié)調(diào)性及團(tuán)隊(duì)精神毡庆。球賽之外的小活動(dòng)也是精彩紛呈坑赡，包括美國(guó)四方球，轉(zhuǎn)呼啦圈么抗，保齡球等毅否。
The last Family Friday featured videos, which highlight camp activities and artwork from the last three weeks.
最后的結(jié)營(yíng)典禮在更新改造后的體育館內(nèi)舉行，新安裝的LED大屏幕迎來(lái)了第一批觀眾蝇刀！通過(guò)播放的視頻螟加，學(xué)生們向他們的爸爸媽媽們展示了豐富的學(xué)習(xí)成果。學(xué)生們的舞蹈表演也贏得了陣陣掌聲吞琐。當(dāng)學(xué)生們手拿結(jié)營(yíng)證書站在舞臺(tái)上，臉上寫滿了自豪徐许。
At the end of the day, we finished out the camp with a short dance performance, pi?atas and water battles.
營(yíng)會(huì)的尾聲迎來(lái)了孩子們最喜愛(ài)的特色糖果游戲“皮納塔”和打水仗卒蘸，在一片歡聲笑語(yǔ)和大汗淋漓中結(jié)束了我們的營(yíng)會(huì)。
