1.LOOPHOLES
loophole表示“漏洞”，比方說system loophole，law loophole. 在此文中，個(gè)人認(rèn)為loophole有2層含義：表示Trevor和媽媽直接斗智斗勇，互相找對方漏洞魁兼；也表示Trevor想盡辦法去逃脫媽媽對她的懲罰坐搔。

ground表示“地面”藏研，也可以作為動詞表示“是接觸地面”，比方說 the airplane/boat is grounded...;但文中則表示“懲罰”概行。
3.This sometimes went back and forth for days.
go back and forth 表示“走來走去蠢挡，猶豫不決,來來回回". 例句“and then you go back and forth, back and forth”，這樣表示既簡單又有畫面感凳忙。
Summary：
This chapter is a little easier for me to understand as more stories came from Trevor's interesting life, and I have learnt a lot from her on how to influnce her kid. She never complained, never negatived her son but just blamed at the specific things, and own the abiloty to forget the pain in life.
However, I found some ways are not encouraged or even blamed nowadays. Like drawing on the wall, more and more parents can accept as they wouldn't like to ruin the children's imagination and creactivity. And no need to say, scearming at the kids or beat the kids are recogonized as bad ways for educating the kids.
As parents, all in all, do ourselves best is the best way to affect the person who we'd like to affect.
