女士們颇象，先生們：
Ladies and gentlemen,
大家下午好伍伤！非常高興有機(jī)會來到馬蒂斯小學(xué)∏睬看到你們扰魂，讓我感受到了朝氣與活力。
Good afternoon.It is my great pleasure to come to Martyrs of Uganda Preparatory School. I feelvigorous and vital when I am among the kids.
作為中國駐加納大使蕴茴，我對加納懷有特殊的感情阅爽，期待能夠?yàn)檫@里的人民多做點(diǎn)實(shí)事，特別是讓中國和加納的下一代彼此了解荐开，把中加兩國的友好關(guān)系傳承和發(fā)展下去，永遠(yuǎn)作好朋友简肴、好伙伴晃听、好兄弟。
As ChineseAmbassador to Ghana, I have a soft spot for the country and want to do morethings for the Ghanaian people, especially to enhance mutual understandingbetween our next generations so that they can inherit and develop traditionalfriendship of our two countries and become good friends, good partners and goodbrothers for ever.
中國很遙遠(yuǎn)砰识。中國和非洲地理上相距萬里能扒。中國是擁有5000年悠久歷史的文明古國，有萬里長城辫狼、北京故宮初斑、杭州西湖、西安秦陵兵馬俑等名勝古跡膨处。中國有13億人民见秤，他們勤勞、勇敢真椿，用自己的雙手創(chuàng)造美好生活鹃答。高速鐵路、互聯(lián)網(wǎng)支付突硝、共享單車以及網(wǎng)絡(luò)購物等被稱為“新四大發(fā)明”测摔，正在從中國走向更多國家，惠及更多民眾。
China is aremote country. It is thousands of miles away from Africa geographically. Chinahas a civilization of 5,000 years and many scenic spots and historical sitessuch as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the West Lake in Hangzhou and theTerra Cotta Warriors in Xi’an. China has 1.3 billion industrious and bravepeople who are creating a better life with their own hands. The New Four GreatInventions known as high-speed train, internet payment, shared cycling andonline shopping are spreading from China to the rest of the world andbenefiting more people.
中國又很近锋八。中國和非洲交往源遠(yuǎn)流長浙于。600年前，中國航海家鄭和率船隊(duì)抵達(dá)東非挟纱。僅庫馬西而言羞酗，每天都有許多商人從這里飛往中國，也有不少中國商人來到庫馬西樊销。這里有中國政府援建的庫馬西青年中心項(xiàng)目整慎、朱麗葉夫人信息技術(shù)中心多媒體教室，也有中國投資的新安陽光農(nóng)資公司围苫，以及水泥裤园、汽車配件、塑料制品等工廠剂府。剛才拧揽，我見到了在庫馬西教漢語的兩位中國教師，他們告訴我越來越多的加納學(xué)生學(xué)中文腺占，愛中國淤袜。
China is, at thesame time, a close country. The exchanges between China and Africa run a long,long course. Some 600 years ago, Zheng He, a Chinese navigator in the MingDynasty arrived in East Africa with his fleet. Nowadays in Kumasi alone, manybusinessmen fly to China and many Chinese businessmen come here every day.Kumasi Youth Center and Lady Julie ICT Knowledge Community Center are aided bythe Chinese government. WYNCA Sunshine Agric, cement plant, auto spare parts factoryand plastic products factory are invested by Chinese companies. Just now, I mettwo Chinese teachers who are teaching Chinese in Kumasi. They told me that moreand more Ghanaian students learn Chinese and love China.
大家都知道，現(xiàn)任加納駐華副大使查爾斯·德拉梅納就是在這所學(xué)校接受的小學(xué)教育衰伯，但也許大家不知道的是铡羡，查爾斯是在中國完成的大學(xué)教育，讀了醫(yī)學(xué)博士∫饩ǎ現(xiàn)在我們是同行烦周，都在做弘揚(yáng)中加友誼與合作的工作。希望你們以查爾斯為榜樣怎顾，為中加友好做貢獻(xiàn)读慎。
As you know, Dr.Charles Dwamena, Deputy Head of the Ghanaian Embassy in China spent his primaryschool years here, but you may not know that he completed his college educationin China with a Doctor degree in medicine. We are now peers working towardstrengthening China-Ghana friendship and cooperation. I hope that you canfollow his example and make contribution to China-Ghana friendship.

Dear students,
我們所處的世界日新月異槐雾，每一天都會有新鮮事物出現(xiàn)夭委。能夠跟上歷史潮流，只能算作及格募强。要想真正改變自身命運(yùn)與周遭環(huán)境株灸，就要作能夠引領(lǐng)未來的人。中國有句古話：“讀萬卷書钻注，行萬里路”蚂且。歡迎大家學(xué)習(xí)中文，有機(jī)會來到中國幅恋，了解中國杏死，發(fā)現(xiàn)中國，收獲真知，擁抱未來淑翼。
We are in anever-changing world with new things appearing every day. It is barely passingto keep up with the historical trend. You have to become someone who can leadthe future to fundamentally change your destiny and your surroundingenvironment. A Chinese proverb goes like this, read thousands of books and walkthousands of miles. I hope you will learn Chinese, discover and understandChina with a view to harvesting knowledge and embracing the future.

Today I bring toyou computers and footballs and I put my expectation for you in these twogifts.
第一，期望大家開拓眼界遭京。眼界是一個人畢生的財富胃惜，一個人看的有多遠(yuǎn)，就有可能走多遠(yuǎn)哪雕〈常互聯(lián)網(wǎng)是最經(jīng)濟(jì)的出行方式，只需一臺電腦斯嚎，再遙遠(yuǎn)的距離也會變得觸手可及利虫。希望大家用好電腦這把通向世界的鑰匙，與世界交朋友堡僻。中國的瑰麗文化與錦繡河山會在另一端等著大家糠惫。
Firstly, I hopeyou can broaden your vision. Vision is a lifetime wealth. A person can walk asfar as he can see. Internet is the most economical way to travel. You need onlya computer to connect with the furthest distance. I hope you can take fulladvantage of computer as your key to the world and make friends with the world.China’s magnificent culture and splendid landscape are waiting for you at theend of the internet.
第二，期望大家強(qiáng)健體魄钉疫。體育運(yùn)動是人類共同的語言硼讽。鍛煉身體不僅可以培養(yǎng)追求卓越的良好品格，而且能夠增進(jìn)友誼牲阁。足球在加納是一項(xiàng)全民運(yùn)動理郑，同樣也深受中國人民喜愛。不少加納足球運(yùn)動員在中國擁有很高知名度咨油。希望大家從足球運(yùn)動中鍛煉身體，培養(yǎng)堅(jiān)韌不拔的品格柒爵。
Secondly, I hopeyou keep strong and healthy. Sports are the common language for mankind. Doingexercises can not only cultivate virtue of pursuing excellence, but alsoenhance friendship. Football is very popular in Ghana, and it is also loved bythe Chinese people. Many Ghanaian football players are well-known in China. Iwish you can become strong and tenacious through football sports.
詩人雪萊曾經(jīng)說過：“希望和青春是同胞兄弟”役电。青春是你們最大的財富，未來屬于你們棉胀。請大家把握大好時光法瑟，博學(xué)之，審問之唁奢，慎思之霎挟，明辨之，篤行之麻掸。祝你們好好學(xué)習(xí)酥夭，健康成長！
Percy Shelleyonce said, hope and youth are brothers. Youth is your most valuable wealth. Thefuture belongs to you. Please make full use of your time to learn, tointerrogate, to think, to discern and to practice. I wish you would study hardand grow healthy.
