民主黨智庫(kù)Third Way不久前發(fā)布了一篇52頁(yè)的報(bào)告，指出現(xiàn)下民主黨候選人們的激進(jìn)綱領(lǐng)將導(dǎo)致他們最終的潰敗斤富。
Third Way認(rèn)為膏潮，右翼的問(wèn)題在于只關(guān)注經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展，指望先富帶動(dòng)后富（即所謂的trikle-down）满力，而左翼的問(wèn)題則是過(guò)分強(qiáng)調(diào)使用“再分配”的方法來(lái)緩解不平等焕参。
Third Way給出了一個(gè)更好的競(jìng)選計(jì)劃：注重技能培訓(xùn)，提供更多工作機(jī)會(huì)和財(cái)富創(chuàng)造油额；此外叠纷，還要不再向中產(chǎn)階級(jí)增收更多賦稅，防止財(cái)政赤字?jǐn)U大潦嘶。
然而涩嚣，Elizabeth Warren等人發(fā)聲反對(duì)稱，美國(guó)現(xiàn)在面臨著重重困難掂僵，需要更有力和激進(jìn)的改革行動(dòng)航厚，留給人們的時(shí)間已經(jīng)不多了。

目前，主流的民主黨政策預(yù)案包括將最低工資提高到15美元/小時(shí)芹扭、擴(kuò)大社保福利溪窒、建設(shè)政府單方負(fù)擔(dān)的醫(yī)保體系(Single-payer health care[1])。
對(duì)此冯勉，Third Way的主席Jonathan Cowan深感憂慮。他認(rèn)為如此激進(jìn)的風(fēng)格不會(huì)受到那些獨(dú)立人士的歡迎摹芙。
Cowan說(shuō)灼狰，民主黨的影響力已到了歷史低位，究其原因就在于民主黨的主張一直在觸犯著中產(chǎn)階級(jí)的利益浮禾。
