3伸刃、peek v. 偷看，搭配介詞into表示向著某地偷看逢倍。
4捧颅、near the frozen creek，以地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)修飾同為地點(diǎn)的alley较雕，狀語(yǔ)作定語(yǔ)碉哑。
景色描寫(xiě)
The early-afternoon sun sparkled on the water where dozens of miniature boats sailed, propelled by a crisp breeze.
1、sun也可以加形容詞修飾亮蒋，這里用了early-afternoon扣典，一方面描述了太陽(yáng)的狀態(tài)，另一方面指出了當(dāng)前時(shí)間慎玖；
2贮尖、從sparkle on我們可以看出，這里的sun強(qiáng)調(diào)的是陽(yáng)光趁怔。陽(yáng)光在水上閃爍湿硝，實(shí)際上是水面波光粼粼。
3痕钢、miniature是微型的图柏。這里說(shuō)到微型的小船，我認(rèn)為也可以理解為是從側(cè)面描寫(xiě)小船距離遠(yuǎn)任连，湖面廣。
4例诀、雖然只用到了一句話随抠，但這句話有靜有動(dòng)。剛講完寧?kù)o的湖面和小船繁涂，就講到crisp breeze拱她，更顯得舒適宜人。

And the cleft lip, just left of midline, where the Chinese doll maker’s instrument may have slipped; or perhaps he had simply grown tired and careless.

作者這里說(shuō)到Hassan的圓臉敞咧，像Chinese doll，讓人生出好感辜腺。實(shí)際上Hassan也的確是讓人感到安心的孩子休建，對(duì)此后文也有呼應(yīng)乍恐。
Hassan唯一的不足就是兔唇，作者將這一缺點(diǎn)比喻為——也許是制作中國(guó)娃娃的工匠手中的工具不慎滑落测砂，或者只是因?yàn)樗肓艘鹆摇⑿牟辉谘伞?/p>
從某種角度上來(lái)說(shuō)，這也是Amir對(duì)Hassan除兔唇外的外貌的褒獎(jiǎng)砌些。
動(dòng)作描寫(xiě)
I'd sit by the door, knees drawn to my chest. Sometimes I sat there for an hour, sometimes two, listening to their laughter, their chatter.
我很喜歡作者提到的這個(gè)動(dòng)作瞧毙，knees drawn to my chest。這是一個(gè)孤獨(dú)的寄症、希望得到守護(hù)和愛(ài)的動(dòng)作宙彪。小小的Amir坐在門(mén)前，聽(tīng)著屋內(nèi)的歡笑和暢聊有巧，不被父親待見(jiàn)释漆，該是多么孤單。
It had been a simple enough affair. No obstetricians, no anesthesiologists, no fancy monitoring devices. Just Sanaubar lying on a stained, naked mattress with Ali and a midwife helping her. She hadn't needed much help at all, because, even in birth, Hassan was true to his nature: He was incapable of hurting anyone. A few grunts, a couple of pushes, and out came Hassan. Out he came smiling.

Notes
第一章篇幅不長(zhǎng)逊笆，簡(jiǎn)短卻生動(dòng)，以平實(shí)而又活潑的語(yǔ)言將讀者帶入到1975年的冬天的童年回憶岂傲。去年难裆，老友Rahim Khan的一通電話讓Amir想起了塵封已久的往事，二十多年前的那個(gè)冬天镊掖，是故事的開(kāi)端卻也冥冥之中指向結(jié)局乃戈，暗中預(yù)示著Amir的成長(zhǎng)軌跡。
第二章開(kāi)始講述童年回憶亩进，借助一個(gè)個(gè)故事的片段症虑，描繪出了故事中的幾個(gè)人物給讀者的第一印象。印象比較深的有這樣幾個(gè)故事归薛，一是Amir和Hassan玩耍谍憔，一邊吃桑葚（mulberries）和核桃（walnuts），一邊用鏡子反射太陽(yáng)光找到鄰居家里或其他調(diào)皮搗蛋的事主籍。Hassan的爸爸過(guò)來(lái)訓(xùn)斥孩子习贫，Hassan從不說(shuō)這是Amir的主意而默默忍受呵斥。二是Hassan出生時(shí)的場(chǎng)景崇猫，沒(méi)有先進(jìn)的醫(yī)療設(shè)施和藥物沈条，沒(méi)有醫(yī)護(hù)人員，只有一張破床墊和一個(gè)接生婆诅炉，卻有Ali炙熱而又期待的目光蜡歹，而Hassan也正如他不會(huì)傷害任何人的性情一般屋厘，無(wú)比順利的降臨。
Character
I/Amir：富人的孩子月而，調(diào)皮搗蛋汗洒，卻個(gè)性懦弱。母親因生子去世父款，與父親相依為命溢谤。
Hassan：忠厚老實(shí)，為人正直憨攒，出身貧窮世杀，是Amir家仆人的孩子，地位很低肝集。他的母親在他幼年時(shí)拋棄了家庭瞻坝。Hassan是Amir的好朋友，愿意為好朋友承擔(dān)過(guò)錯(cuò)與責(zé)任杏瞻。
Baba：Amir的父親所刀，非常富有。年輕時(shí)小有成就捞挥，常在書(shū)房和朋友抽煙閑聊浮创，對(duì)Amir不是很重視也并不是很寵愛(ài)。
Rahim Khan：Amir父親的好朋友和生意伙伴砌函。他善解人意斩披、通情達(dá)理，和Amir關(guān)系不錯(cuò)胸嘴。
Ali：Hassan的父親雏掠，年少時(shí)是孤兒，身體有殘疾劣像，而且臉有疾病，無(wú)法微笑或發(fā)怒摧玫，表情都只由眼睛表現(xiàn)出來(lái)耳奕。一貧如洗，由于出身貧寒且宗教地位低诬像，經(jīng)常被人看不起屋群。
Sanaubar：Hassan的母親，美麗漂亮坏挠，卻不守婦道芍躏，比Ali小19歲，不是真心愛(ài)Ali和Hassan降狠。Hassan出生后不久就獨(dú)自離開(kāi)了对竣。
