? ? Today I read the essay named an ugly stone written by Jia Pingwa.? To begin with, the author described an ugly piece of black stone lying like an ox in front of his door. Once it was intended to be used to build the wall or pave the steps or carve words or flowers or wash clothes on, at last, these thoughts were all refused because its appearance without regular shape and edges and flat plane. No one thinking the ugly stone called aerolite should have come from the sky, which had fallen down two or three hundred years ago. It had once mended the sky. Our ancestors once look -ed up it. It once gave them light, brought them hopes and expectations and then fell down to the earth.
? ? ? Beauty from ugliness.
? ? When something becomes the ugliest, it turns out the most beautiful indeed. I once watched a Tv series named an ugly mother.
It takes about an ugly mother who was abandoned by his son. When his son was married, he didn't want her to attend. Then a car accident happened to her, she was hit and rescued by a rich man who thought she was his missing mother. The man asked her to live in his villa, but she was looked down upon by his maid. Eventually she was recognized by all the people around her including her son and her daughter-in-law.
The plot is ups and downs. Though it is an essay, it can also be set the exercise which continues to be written after reading the beginning of an article.
