A misic lover of the nineteenth century might have had to make a considerable sacrifice of time and money to follow his hobby. However, the arrival of the radio has made an almost unbelievable difference in our lives. Nowadays, people do not have to pay money to follow their hobby of listening to music. Instead, they have to pay to get away from all the noise. Music has become part of the noise system that surround us. It is constantly in the air. There are even companies that make a living recommending the right kind of background music to anyone who may ask –be be he the manager of a store selling expensive growns, or a dentist with a waiting room full of nervous patients.
