Lesson 5 No wrong numbers
Mr.James Scott has a garage in Silbury and now he has just bought another garage
in Pinhurst. Pinhurst is only five miles from Silbury, but Mr. Scott cannot get
a telephone for his new garage, so he has just bought twelve pigeons.
Yesterday, a pigeon carried the first message from Pinhurst to Silbury. The
bird covered the distance in three minutes. Up to now, Mr. Scott has sent a
great many requests for spare parts and other urgent messages from one garage
to the other. In this way, he has begun his own private telephone service.
Lesson 6 Percy Buttons
I have just moved to a house in Bridge Street. Yesterday a beggar knocked at my
door. He asked me for a meal and a glass of beer. In return for this, the beggar
stood on his head and sang songs. I gave him a meal. He ate the food and drank
the beer. Then he put a piece of cheese in his pocket and went away. Later a
neighbor told me about him. Everybody knows him. His name is Percy Buttons. He
calls at every house in the street once a month and always asks for a meal and
a glass of beer.

知識筆記：跟著錄音學習語調椎木，重音，斷句的不同朝卒。雖然跟讀的時候能夠跟隨它的語調斷句证逻，但自己讀的時候又是平淡無奇……還得好好練一下~
練習感悟：這兩天有點忙。昨天就忙到晚上一點才睡抗斤，今天又是忙了一天囚企。。剛剛很想躺床上玩玩手機睡個覺瑞眼，玩一半的時候想起來英語還沒讀龙宏。。雖然心里有個聲音告訴我“干脆明天再讀吧~”伤疙。但我拒絕了它~哇塞银酗！這可是個巨大的進步呢！趕緊夸自己一下掩浙！這樣才有動力繼續(xù)堅持；ㄒ鳌！３ΑＰ瞥骸！谬墙！
另外今布，自己學的真的太隨緣了。拭抬。部默。。除了英語以外造虎，現在又堆了很多必須學的待辦事項傅蹂。有的優(yōu)先級也非常高。我得先好好排一排~
