? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? When I pick it up to spend a couple days to read, it's so hard to put it down, even after finish discussion of yesterday, some plots still flashing into my mind like a true movie. Though the lavender keeper is set during the Second World War when Nazi occupation of France, reflections to my mind are some historical materials in wartime between China and Japan. In this book, different main places--Paris, Provence and London-- shifting back and forth, the characters of lisette, Luc and kilian who have each mission from London Home office, French resistance and high-ranking German office also are very impressive, strong and real. In reading group, when it comes to a question that Lisette crossed a moral line or not, though I am not a fan of love triangles, I am still struck on the love among Lisette, Luc and kilian. Lisette found herself torn between two men--one Lisette did love Luc, but the same woman didn't regret asking kilian to replace his driver. Maybe love should have not so much enjoy at present as none of hatred among them. It's a good and predicted ending, the whole book filled with action, adventure, romance, intrigue. I have to say " fantastic" and a generous 5 stars!
