Part 1 They found a coffin.

There is a remote village.In terms of local terrain,every family has a basement to store stuff.One day, one of the villagers decided to rebuild their basement,they wanted to expand the area of the celler. So he drove the excavator to dig.Nothing happened on the first day.There was a strong storm and heavy rain on that night,but it was sunny on the next day.When the man began to drive the excavator to dig again.He saw something shiny under the ground,he was very curious about the shiny stuff. So he got close to it,and he found it was gold.He was so excited,he thought there must be more gold in the same place.So he was almost crazy to move the soil. At the beginning the gold appeared in samll amount.But soon, the large side of the coffin started showing. He was totally shocked by the spectacle.He didn’t know what to do,but he thought if he got the coffin,he would be the richest man in the world.But he didn’t know what coffin it was.So he decided to tell other villagers about his strange discovery.After a dissusion,they decided to share the wealth.They thought it just a golden coffin,but when they opened the lid,there was a lot of valuable jewels,they took out all of the jewels,then,they found there was second cover.But they were not satisfied with the current wealth,they wanted to get more.So after that,they opened next layers,until they had opened the sixth layers.They had already lost their mind.There was a power pushing them to open the last layer.

Part 2 ?The status of the dead man

Finally,the last lid was opened.There was corpse laying down inside.From his appearance,he was a very handsome young man,and the most amazing thing was that his body was still in a good condition.His clothes were made from deluxe silk,also the gown was embroidered some animal patterns on it.It looked very luxurious.The local people were astonished by the fantastic sight.According to those expensive jewels,they thought the man has been died for at least 5 hundred years.Because they are not knowledgeable people,so they were uncertain about the truth of the man.But in terms of traditional customs, it was not a good omen.So they took away all of the valuable jewels,and they replaced the lid .Unexpectedly,when they were replacing the lid,someone saw the man’s fingers move.And next day,the man died in an accident.And on the third day, another man died with no apparent cause.The local villagers were so scared about the phenomenon of death.So the villager chief called all villagers to discuss the problem.Someone suggested that they should give a wedding to the dead man, they thought it ?would pacify his fury.So they bulit a big tomb for him,and whose family has a daughter should be married to that man.After that wedding,there were no more deaths in a year except the girl who got married to that man.After that,there would be an anual wedding for the dead man,and every year there would be a girl who died in this period.

Part 3 ? ? Jane's wedding

This year,it was Jane’s turn.For the safety of every villager,Jane’s parents had no choice,they had to sacrifice their dauther.Even though they cherished her.Eventually,the gloomy day was coming,all villagers gathered together in front of the tomb,on that day,Jane wore ?a white dress.She looked gorgeous,even though she was only twelve years old.When Jane wallked to the tomb,she saw all of the decorations were white,it was competely different from tradtitional style.In China,when someone gets married,people will decorate the wedding in red.On the contrary,people will use the white to decorate the funeral when people die.But Jane didn’t know what she was doing at that moment.She didn’t know what would happen next.Suddently,the village chief stood up and murmured saying something to the dead man.And then,he asked Jane to hold the died man’s hand.Of course Jane wouldn’t do it,,she was so scared,she wanted to run away,but she could’t.Because she knew those people wouldn’t let her escape.She must get married with the dead man today.In case she ran away,the village chief locked their hands together,and told her she must stay in the coffin with her husband until next day.Her parents begged and begged,hope they could let her daughter back home tonight,but it didn’t work.When the night came,they finished the wedding,and all villagers had to leave the tomb.Including Jane’s parents,only left Jane and the dead man reminded.The night was extreamly quiet except for Jane sobbing.She tried to escaped the coffin,she struggled and struggled,but it useless.All of a sudden,there was a jade ring on her ring finger.But there was nobody there,so no one could put have the ring to her finger.It was so strange,and the most weirdiest thing was she could take off the ring,no matter how she tried to pull it off.She was nearly in despair,so she decided to give up trying anything to escape.Just lie down there with her dead husband.The coffin was not covered competely,they left a gap for Jane to breathe.But it was too dark inside and outside,she was so scared,so she prayed the night could pass quickly.At midnight,she was nearly fell asleep,suddently,the dead man held her hand tightly,and kissed her.She was woken up by his cool lips,and then screamed loudly.Later,the died man said,”be quiet,I have something to tell you.You are the only female who could resist my cold body.So you are my wife from now on,I will protect you until you grow up”.Jane passed out right away,until next day,her parents got the key from the chief villager.

part 4 ? Jane lost memeory

They went to the tomb,and then opened the coffin.They said to the dead man,”Lord,please let us take away our daughter from your shrine,we will worship you every day.”When they finished speaking,they saw their daughter laying down inside.It seemed like she was just falling asleep.They unlocked their hands quickly,and at the same time,they called”dear wake up,wake up”.Jane could feel someone was saying something,then she opened her eyes slowly.She felt a sudden pain in her head.She shook her head twice and said,who are you?Why I am here?Then she became aware there was a dead man laying by her side.She screamed ,got out of the coffin immediately,and ran very fast to flee this place.Her parents also ran after her,finally they caught up with her and took her home.When they got home,her parents asked her what happened to her the night before,but she said nothing.Because she didn’t know who they were,and why she was there.Anyway,she couldn’t remember anything that had happened to her. Her parents didn’t ask her anything more from then on.Because they knew she had lost her memory.Maybe it was good for her, so that she wouldn’t think of the bad things again.Their only hope was that she could grow up like a normal person,they had been living together for 5 years until she was 17,even though she only had the memories of these five years,she was very happy during this time.And there were no more weddings for the dead man since that day, also no one died during those five years.It was a miracle for the village,everyone thought that they were saved by Jane.They really appreciated what Jane had done.

This autumn,Jane was going to start her high school study in a small town.Before she ?left,every family came to her house and brought her so many presents.She had no idea why they gave her presents,maybe they just liked her,she thought.Of course her parents knew the truth,but they wouldn’t tell her anything.So Jane packed some gifts and thanked all of them,and then she took a bus to the town.

part 5 ?Her husband showd up

When she arrived in the town,it was already 7pm.But the school would begin the next day,so she had to find a hotel to stay in.Then she came to a motel which was not far away from her school,she checked in and the room No. was 1407 which was in the west wing of the hotel.She walked to her room and went in.She turned on the light and saw all of the fittings were very old. It was so shabby ,just the same as her own home .So she became accustomed this room very quickly.Then she decided to go out to find something to eat,when she walked to the door,she found there was a shadow behind the door,she didn’t think too much,because she thought it was hers.And then she kept walking.She walked out the motel and found a small fast-food resturant near the hotel.In order to save money,she only had a bowl of noodles,but she was so satifisted with it.Later,she walked around the streets,she found there was a beautiful park in front of the motel,she went straight to the park,she saw there was a lake in the middle of the park,but only a few people there.Wow, how a beautiful it was!,she was fascinated by the current sights.All of a sudden,she saw someone jump into the lake,she was shocked by the tragic scene.Then she shouted to other people,please help that man who just jumped into the water.Otherwise,he will drown.Other people looked at the peaceful lake and said,’ we have been here for a while,we didn't ?see anyone jump.Are you sure you saw clearly???’Jane nodded her head heavily,then she pointed at the position where the man jumped in.But there was nothing,the lake was so still without any ripples. Maybe she really saw wrongly,it was just her hallucination,she thought.If this was merely her hallucination,why it looked real.She could not figure it out.Anyway,she would better off going back to the hotel to have a good rest.

She arrived at her room about 10:30,she felt so tired ,so just wanted to take a shower and go to bed.When she went to the bathroom,she found she couldn't turn on the light,there was some problem with the switch,then she lit a candle in the bathroom.She undressed and soaked herself in the bathtub.She was so relaxed in the hot water,but there some strange things happened.She could feel someone was touching her body,but she was the only one person in this room,so no one could be here except her.was this also her hallucination?she didn't know,but when she was wearing the bath towel,she found there was a shiny ring on her third finger,it was so beautiful,and looked very precious.She was wondering why this valuable ring was on her finger.She couldn't remember that this ring had been put on her finger once when she was 12.So this time she also wanted to put it off from her finger.Suddenly she heard a man's voice,which said if you try to put it off again,I will kill you.She was so scared by the man's words,she didn't know what to do.Then she saw the man standing in front of her,and he was wearing a gown,and the gown was embroidered some animal patterns on it.She could see his clothes clearly but she couldn't see his face,because he turned his back on her.She noticed that he had black long hair with ponytail.was he came from the ancient times?Becacuse she saw so many costume drama series,only the ancient people would dress like this.It seemed she had seen this similiar scene before,she tried to think about it.But she felt a strong pain in her head.Then the man said,I promised you I would protect you until you grew up.I made it.So from now on I will by your side.Jane was angry about what he said.And she said,I don't know who you are,but could you please get out of my place??The man turned to her and glared at her like a devil, Do you want to challenge my authority?The man said.This time jane could see his face totally.Jane screamed,oh,you are the dead man who I got married to?Then she passed out.
