When it comes to the question that which is more important to gain a success between luck and hard work, some individuals may claim that, without good luck, hard work seems nonsense since there are so many hard-working people out there but only a little part of them are successful. As a matter of fact, I think one's hard work is much more crucial than luck on the way becoming success, I would like to examine below some specific reasons according to the most common viewpoints nowadays.

At first, we should define the meaning of success correctly. I need to address that an individual's success should not be defined by only the richness and popularity he owns, on the country, we should focus on the process how he finally receive the result. For instance, when people watch the World Cup, most of the audience will pay attention to how the players kick the ball in, though the game result is important, but the fans will always cheer the loser up as long as they tried their best. The audience are able to feel their improvement and hard work through their performance and sweat.

A further more subtle view we should consider is that hard work makes one become a better human being rather than luck. ?As an old saying goes: No pains, no gains. Though there is some coincidence to let someone become famous out of the blue, but most of the people gained what they want though continuous hard work. As we all know, Adele could not win people's heart without years of singing practice; Thomas Edison could not eventually invent electronic light without thousand times of trying; Jack Ma could not bring his E-tech company into market without self-learning. Tons of examples show that on the narrow way to the success, hard work is a better accompany than luck.

What is more, having the believe that hard work leads to success is a more suitable faith for the young generation in China since there are more fierce competence in the real world and working hard maybe is not the only way, but definitely the direct way to pass the college entrance examination to enter a dream school.

In conclusion, I've shown that hard work is much more important when people are on the way to obtain success. Though the grass on the other side's of the valley is greener, we need to try hard to make a better life on this side through our own hard work.
