目前，美軍的機(jī)種代號(hào)主要有:A-攻擊機(jī)咽笼，B-轟炸機(jī)来颤，C-運(yùn)輸機(jī)，E-電子設(shè)備機(jī)（包括雷達(dá)警戒、電子對(duì)抗呕诉、空中指揮和空中通信等），F(xiàn)-戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)吃度，H-直升機(jī)甩挫，K-空中加油機(jī)，S-反潛機(jī)规肴，R-偵察機(jī)等捶闸。使用序號(hào)采用阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字，寫在機(jī)種代號(hào)之后拖刃，一般用來表示使用或設(shè)計(jì)的順序。如F-14表示設(shè)計(jì)代號(hào)為14的戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)贪绘，B-70表示設(shè)計(jì)代號(hào)為70的轟炸機(jī)兑牡。這些機(jī)種代號(hào)分別指什么呢？
A- attacker 攻擊機(jī)/強(qiáng)擊機(jī)
B- bomber 轟炸機(jī)
C- cargo plane 運(yùn)輸機(jī)
E- electronic plane電子設(shè)備機(jī)
F- fighter jet 戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)
