如昨天Danajaya工作坊中提到吏廉,You got to have a message before you have a speech and your message should be short and sweet. 我在另一位世界冠軍Craig Valentine的課程中看到了相似的分享望几。而他把這個(gè)message稱為Foundational Phrase.
1. Examples of Foundational Phrase:
Your dream is not for sale.
What got you here won't get you there.
Change small and change often.
Actions speak louder than words.
2. It should be shorter than 10 words.
It does not just make audience easier to remember your message, but also forces you to be crystal clear on what you're gonna say.
3. Foundational Phrase is the barometer for your story.
You may have confusions that in a speech, what should I keep and what should I leave? If it supports the foundational phrase, keep it in. If it doesn’t, throw it out. The phrase determines what stays. 我覺(jué)得有時(shí)候可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)“我的內(nèi)容其實(shí)跟我想表達(dá)的主題思想都相關(guān),怎么辦权薯?”那就看看:
a. 哪個(gè)相關(guān)性更高堡妒,自己想不清楚晶框,可以讓他人給予參考意見(jiàn)和點(diǎn)評(píng)
b. 在幽默演講中特別容易出現(xiàn)為了幽默而幽默蜕径,講的東西和主旨無(wú)關(guān),這一條其實(shí)在這里得到了回答司草。最高級(jí)的幽默當(dāng)然是又好笑又有意義艰垂,但那樣子的技巧泡仗,仍需深造。
4. The phrase is the take away message for your audience members. It’s what they should remember for each story.
