最近讀《飯禱愛》缎浇，回想起了在英國(guó)讀書時(shí)去意大利旅行的時(shí)光（“噴泉 Fountain”和“冰淇淋 Gelato”）。很多細(xì)節(jié)赴肚，以為就這樣過(guò)去了素跺，可是讀到相關(guān)文字，卻又浮現(xiàn)眼前誉券、歷歷在目指厌。

旅行不喜歡做準(zhǔn)備扁远，tend just to show up and see what happens。有的時(shí)候是會(huì)有一些美好的偶遇 chance encounters; but you should never rely entirely on chance.?
旅行中刻像，厚臉皮是必要的（be shameless enough）畅买，抱著“I just don't care”的心態(tài)。不過(guò)準(zhǔn)備好一份聯(lián)系人名單细睡，以做備用（a substaintial list of contacts)谷羞。
書的15小結(jié)，闡述了為何許多人覺得意大利語(yǔ)非常優(yōu)美。作者認(rèn)為湃缎，這一切都離不開但断睢（Dante，意大利詩(shī)人嗓违，代表作：《神曲（Divine Comedy）》）九巡。因?yàn)闃?biāo)準(zhǔn)的意大利語(yǔ)是在但丁的《神曲》的基礎(chǔ)上逐漸形成的，而選擇的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)就是“優(yōu)美”蹂季。不像法語(yǔ)冕广、西班牙語(yǔ)等都是由該國(guó)的主導(dǎo)城市方言演變而來(lái)，意大利語(yǔ)是前人結(jié)合了多種方言偿洁、從中選擇最優(yōu)美的部分融合而成撒汉。
