本題是含有絕對(duì)詞的一類題目憨奸，語氣過于強(qiáng)烈排宰，立場(chǎng)選擇為反駁題目觀點(diǎn)更好寫。我的觀點(diǎn)是報(bào)紙是獲取最新消息的一種途徑党瓮，但是與之相比還有更好的選擇盐类，比如社交媒體(Facebook,Twitter,Instagram)呛谜，理由參見文末枪萄。

本題可以與新概念英語三?Lesson 45 The power of press 新聞報(bào)道的威力?結(jié)合起來呻引，因?yàn)閳?bào)紙也是新聞傳播的媒介。

In democratic countries any efforts to restrict the freedom of the press are rightly condemned. However, this freedom can easily be abused. Stories about people often attract far more public attention than political events. Though we may enjoy reading about the lives of others, it is extremely doubtful whether we would equally enjoy reading about ourselves. Acting on the contention that facts are sacred, reporters can cause untold suffering to individuals by publishing details about their private lives. Newspapers exert such tremendous influence that they can not only bring about major changes to the lives of ordinary people but can even overthrow a government.

The story of a poor family that acquired fame and fortune overnight, dramatically illustrates the power of the press. The family lived in Aberdeen, a small town of 23,000 inhabitants in South Dakota. As the parents had five children, life was a perpetual struggle against poverty. They were expecting their sixth child and were faced with even more pressing economic problems. If they had only had one more child, the fact would have passed unnoticed. They would have continued to struggle against economic odds and would have lived in obscurity. But they suddenly became the parents of quintuplets, an aeroplane arrived in Aberdeen bringing sixty reporters and photographers.

The rise to fame was swift. Television cameras and newspapers carried the news to everyone in the country. Newspapers and magazines offered the family huge sums for the exclusive rights to publish stories and photographs. Gifts poured in not only from unknown people, but room baby food and soap manufacturers who wished to advertise their products. The old farmhouse the family lived in was to be replaced by new $500,000 home. Reporters kept pressing for interviews so lawyers had to be employed to act as spokesmen for the family at press conferences. While the five babies were babies were still quietly sleeping in oxygen tents in hospital nursery, their parents were paying the price for fame. It would never again be possible for them to lead normal lives. They had become the victims of commercialization, for their names had acquired a market value. Instead of being five new family members, these children had immediately become a commodity.

Indeed, newspaper is one of the most effective ways to access the latest information, however, it is still not as fast as other kinds of social medias such as Facebook, twitter and Linkin, etc. Meanwhile, we cannot ignore the negative effects that newspapers may cause untold sufferring to individuals by pubilishing details about peoples private lives and exert tremendouss?influence that they can not only bring about major changes to the lives of ordinary people but can even overthrow a government.

寫作版本2：

In terms of timeliness, news transmission through?newspaper is less effective than the Internet. For example, the manufacturing of a newspaper is a complicated and time-consuming process, which means the update of information in newspaper is day-to-day and its news are always focused on the yesterday. In comparison, news on the Internet can be edited and issued in very minute. That is to say, in terms of the function of ensuring the freshness of news, the Internet is far beyond the out-of-mode newspaper.

4.As the parents had five children, life was a perpetual struggle against poverty.?全家人常年在貧困中掙扎为肮。大家體會(huì)這句話的語法結(jié)構(gòu)的完整性颊艳，如果去掉as引導(dǎo)的原因狀語從句，沒有語法錯(cuò)誤棋枕，但是邏輯卻不夠完整重斑。

5.Faced with even more pressing economic problems 面臨著更為嚴(yán)峻的經(jīng)濟(jì)問題。我們可以運(yùn)用到雅思寫作犯罪類題目中卤恳，例如：社會(huì)犯罪率上升的原因：Facing with pressing economic problems, people have to steal money or food to support themselves and therefore commit?a crime.

8.They had become the victims of commercialization, for their names had acquired a market value. 我們可以改寫成廣告的壞處：A great many people have become the victims of advertisements镜豹，for the quality of a product is not compliant with their exquisite description on TV or billboards.

The first reason against this assertion is about the news transmission. Obviously, in a digital age driven by IT technology, the media of newspaper has been much inferior to the Internet, because by the latter the audience can conveniently and comfortably read news on the screen of computers at home or cell phones in walking. In other words, the Internet, instead of print media, makes news universally available for the readers.

2.報(bào)紙的影響力遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)比不上互聯(lián)網(wǎng)人芽。報(bào)紙由于收費(fèi)和只在某些地方發(fā)行萤厅，所以影響力有限。相反楼誓，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的信息獲取和傳播是免費(fèi)的名挥，不受到空間限制。換句話說榄融，一個(gè)小小的地域性新聞也能吸引全球數(shù)億網(wǎng)名的注意救湖。

Some people believe that newspaper is far less influential than the Internet. In fact, the influence of a newspaper is always limited, due to it has production costs and only issued in certain countries and areas. In contrast, online news is characterized by free of charge and boundlessness, which can maximize the impact and publicity of a news globally, because all Internet users worldwide could be potential readers of this news, with no geographic limitation.
