Sr. Operations Program Manager
Location: Shenzhen
The position is for a talented and highly motivated Operations Program Manager of Manufacturing supporting Amazon located in China. This program manager will be responsible for the quality and delivery of market leading and high impact consumer electronics at contract manufacturing site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· In depth knowledge relating to managing manufacturing operations and production and working with Contract Manufacturers.
· Plan, direct and coordinate the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.?
· Establish and control conditions of execution of operating strategies and plans
· Manage day to day operations to meet weekly MPS per WW planning's priority, region's mix and overall pack out quantity with explanation of shipment delta, cycle time goal; articulate impact on the organization in revenue and costs.
· Local support in taking the lead to facilitate the communication and co-ordination on cross functionally issue and business
· Use statistical techniques to verify the effectiveness of solutions
· Ensure quality of work
· Be able to work cross-functional with other organizations building strong relationships within the Amazon.
· Ensure compliance to corporate social standards.
· Knowledgeable in lean methodology and demonstrated ability in goal setting.
Basic Qualifications
Education/?Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum ten (10) years program or factory operations experience in a manufacturing environment or working with contract manufacturing partners
Other qualifications include:
· High-level leadership and decision-making skills
· Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills - both in Mandarin and English
· Knowledgeable in Lean methodology and demonstrated ability in goal setting
· Good negotiation skills
· Program management in supply chain and operations
· Proven track record implementing quality programs with spirit of continuous improvement.
· Ability to implement robust Corrective actions using 8D format.
· Good vision, analytical, process oriented and strong problem solving skills.
· Detailed knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering degree preferred. Other additional qualifications include:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.? (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
· Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing
· Must be able to report on site performance against goals.
