Office Daily Greeting.
C: Good morning, Manager! Oh, great to see you back from the business trip to America. I feel as if I hadn't seen you for ages. How have you been?
G: Oh, Hi, Cathy! Yeah, it's quite a while, and I guess it must be round about six weeks. Um, I'm quite well, and everything worked out much better out there than expected. Then, how're you doing?
C: Vow, Resonably good. But busy as usual doing the office routine of import and export trade. Huh, I'd better not go into it now and, much less, to complain, anyway. But why not tell me anything exciting about your visit there?
G: OK, you know, after twenty hours of five-round business negotiations over three weeks, we made a fair deal and then started traveling from coast to coast by shuttle-bus or train now and then, enjoying fantastic landscape, wonderful city-slights, fresh air, sunshine, delicious delicacies, distinctive folklore in that melting-pot...
A: Morning, everyong. What's up?
C: Hey, Anne, not much. Well, just come on, I'd like you to meet the head of our sales section. Manager, this is our new comer, Anne Kenedy, working as an accountant here.
G: Well, very pleased to meet you, Anne, if I may call you. I'm called Gale Gray. Then what did you perform before coming here??
A: Oh, sure, pleasure's mine! Hapy to know you, miss Gray. I've just graduated from Shanghai JiaoTong University, majoring in accounting. This is the first time I've become a real acountant in my life. So, if I'm off base, just point it out for me, and I'll feel very apreciative of your advice.
G: Ho, sure, I will. Anyhow, you're eligible for the job. But just get involved in our team work as soon as possible, OK?
A: OK, I see. Many thanks.
G: You're welcome.
