It's a southeastern city in China. But it's not a coastal city（But it is not so close to the sea） like Guangzhou and Shenzhen, it probably takes me 4 hours on the train to get to Shenzhen.?

Eating Culture /?Food habit?

Due to the humid climate in my hometown, people used to eat very spicy food to make them sweat. Compared with people in North China who have to spend much time in cold weather,? people in South China are less preferable to a meat diet, which contains lots of fat and protein. They prefer a plant diet and are accustomed to drinking soup. And of course, coastal city people eat seafood most of the time. But to be honest, with?the?deepening?of?globalization, we can find all kinds of food from different parts of the world in even a small city in China, and people's?taste is various nowadays..

Major

It's a combination of Biology and informatics, we use some mathematical and computer science approach to solve Biological problems.

for example, a pharmaceutical?company where they try to find?a medication to cure an illness, and Bioinformatics can help to find the genetic rules of the illness and provide support for big data.

sometimes they just change a molecule or a single gene to make the result totally different.

Why do you choose this major?

I have to say that this is a coincidence. My College?Entrance?Examination?Scores——just like the SAT scores in America are a little bit lower than expected, so I have to change my study path to Bioinformatics. Since now I find it a?major I?could?really?sink?my?teeth?into, I would say it's a fantastic coincidence and it's maybe the?will?of?Heaven!

computers always run on 0 and 1, so I mean in order to get the computer to do something you have to come up with a mathematical equation that will tell it what you want it to do based on 0 and 1. It is quite interesting and challenging, cuz you have to work on so many mathematical variables or something like that.

cuz all the characters are so funny and they all have their own personality. when I first find it, it make me feel like "woo what a funny concept"

看法：Nowadays lots of the younger generation don't have much vocabulary

good side:

it's a good tendency cuz people simplify their language to make the expression more efficient, and also make it easier for people from a foreign country who want to study it as a second or tired language they mastered. It will definitely lead to cultural communication and globalization.

downside:?

nowadays we have such quick methods of communication that our languages are becoming quick and short as well. The younger generation communicates more using typing than writing, which brings the problem that they might forget how to fully express their inner thinking through words and even how to write or spell them. And the benefits bring from hand-writing is nothing can replace just like the paper book to the e-book.
