雅思口語考試第一部分還經(jīng)常會出現(xiàn)“種類”(types/kinds)的問題秃殉，例如：
What kinds of music are popular in your country?
What types of birds are popular in your country?
大多數(shù)的考生回答如下：
There are many kinds of music which are pretty popular in China共郭，like rock and roll，blues年碘，jazz，hip hop and rap.
There are many types of birds which are popular in my country展鸡，like swallows屿衅，magpies，eagles and parrots.
從上面的回答我們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)莹弊，考生犯了兩個典型錯誤涤久。一是和考官重復(fù)使用相同的詞匯(types/kinds)；二是單純地羅列出事物的種類忍弛，而不加以解釋响迂。在回答此類問題時，考生需要掌握“種類”和“歡迎度”兩類詞匯细疚。

Of course it goes without saying that there's a wide range of music in my country. However蔗彤，I think the most widespread could perhaps be pop music，and the explanation for this could be that listening to pop music can make people happy疯兼，especially when they are down in the dumps(心情不好). As well as pop music然遏，another form of prevalent music would be classical，and this might be because the message or emotion behind classical music is hard to put into words吧彪，and it gives you a feeling of serenity and tranquility.
