《When you say nothing at all》這首著名的鄉(xiāng)村歌曲由Paul Overstreet和Don Schlitz創(chuàng)作， Keith Whitley演唱格嗅，收錄在其第三張錄音室專輯《Don't Close Your Eyes》（1988年）中引瀑。美國著名藍(lán)草歌手Alison Krauss（1994年）翻唱此曲荠雕，并打入U(xiǎn)S Country Songs前三位置。這首歌也是愛爾蘭著名男團(tuán)組合Boyzone主唱Ronan Keating（1999年）的第一首單曲幻工，并成功登頂英國單曲榜。臺灣歌手蔡依林也翻唱過這首歌曲并收錄在專輯《愛的練習(xí)語》（2008年）中。同時也是電影《諾丁山》的插曲之一微宝。與羅南詮釋方式不同，Alison溫柔舒服的唱腔虎眨，搭配著吉他和鋼琴伴奏蟋软，簡單又令人感動不已镶摘；樂評家均認(rèn)為AKUS(Alison Krauss and Union Station)從80年代末至90年代中，將草根藍(lán)調(diào)音樂從地方性音樂帶領(lǐng)成為全世界均能接受的樂風(fēng)岳守，在樂壇占有舉足輕重的地位凄敢。
