大學(xué)課堂的重點是對學(xué)生未來作為合格公民角色的引導(dǎo)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的思維方式，幫助學(xué)生發(fā)展有意義的生活哲學(xué)觀（a meaningful philosophy of life）茸习，部分課程是為未來職場的技能做儲備柔逼，以便于學(xué)生將來有機會過上富裕的生活（well off financially）.
