與書(shū)緣
一時(shí)興起谒府,看到都教授的枕邊書(shū)的標(biāo)簽就買(mǎi)了拼坎。好笑的是浮毯,我并沒(méi)看過(guò)來(lái)自星星的你。只是泰鸡,枕邊書(shū)這個(gè)詞勾起我購(gòu)買(mǎi)的欲望债蓝。讀至第七章,被工作和生活盛龄,耽擱至今饰迹,終于在2017年3月25日閱讀完畢。
Edward Tulane 原本是一只倍受寵愛(ài)的陶瓷兔子余舶,一只制作精良啊鸭,透露著高雅氣質(zhì)的紳士兔子,他能看能聽(tīng)欧芽,也有思想活動(dòng)和情感莉掂,就是不能說(shuō)話(huà)和沒(méi)有行動(dòng)能力。白天他觀察著街上的景象和家里的人事物千扔,等待著小主人憎妙,夜晚在小主人入睡后,他最喜歡看天上的星星曲楚。
故事的開(kāi)始是這樣
在陪同小主人登上航海之旅了厘唾,愛(ài)德華被意外地被扔進(jìn)海里。躺的地方再也不是小主人家為他定制的床龙誊,而是冰冷漆黑的海床抚垃,他開(kāi)始回想起小主人的祖母在出發(fā)前,對(duì)小主人和他講的故事——那個(gè)美麗卻不懂愛(ài)的小公主變成了一只丑陋的野豬......
最精彩的部分是對(duì)愛(ài)德華心里活動(dòng)的描寫(xiě)趟大,從懵懂不知到擔(dān)憂(yōu)和悲傷鹤树,到后來(lái)更換主人和親眼目睹另一主人的離世,在街頭表演逊朽,被砸碎后失望到封閉自我.....
每次更換主人罕伯,愛(ài)德華感受一段段短暫的愛(ài)和呵護(hù),然而這些甜蜜的時(shí)刻在愛(ài)德華再次回歸孤獨(dú)時(shí)卻讓他更悲傷叽讳。
"I have been loved, ?Edward told the stars."
我曾經(jīng)被愛(ài)過(guò)追他,愛(ài)德華對(duì)著星星說(shuō)。
語(yǔ)錄摘抄
被救出海底后岛蚤,Edward跟著老漁夫回到家邑狸。漁夫的妻子把Edward當(dāng)是孩子一樣對(duì)待,并給他取名為Susanna涤妒。在與他們相處单雾,Edward開(kāi)始學(xué)會(huì)接受,放下以前的講究。
“They lacked the elegance and artistry of his real clothes. But then Edward remembered lying on the ocean floor, the muck in his face, the stars so far away, and he said to himself, What difference does it make really? Wearing a dress won't hurt me.”
老夫婦的女兒看不慣父母親們將Edward當(dāng)成真的孩子來(lái)對(duì)待硅堆,將Edward扔到垃圾堆里蜂奸。
在垃圾堆里,Edward認(rèn)真地尋思祖母的那個(gè)故事硬萍,他開(kāi)始沉思扩所,是不是因?yàn)樽约翰粔驉?ài)Abilene,所以才會(huì)離開(kāi)她朴乖,而且沒(méi)有彌補(bǔ)的機(jī)會(huì)祖屏。還有Lawrence夫婦,他學(xué)會(huì)了想念买羞,想和愛(ài)他的人和他愛(ài)的人呆在一起的念頭越來(lái)越深刻袁勺。
But he knew the answer to that question, too. It was because he had not loved Abilene enough. And now she was gone from him. And he would never be able to make it right. And Nellie and Lawrence were gone, too. He missed them terribly. He wanted to be with them.
The rabbit wondered if that was love.
一只狗把Edward從垃圾堆里救出來(lái),之后Edward就跟著流浪漢Bull和他的狗Lucy一起生活畜普。
然而好景不長(zhǎng)期丰,在火車(chē)上,Edward被人一腳踢下火車(chē)……
從前在埃及街的時(shí)候吃挑,星星讓Edward心里充滿(mǎn)憧憬钝荡;而在Lawerence夫婦生活的期間,Lawrence晚上會(huì)把他抗在肩上舶衬,對(duì)他說(shuō)星星的名字埠通。而現(xiàn)在,可憐的Edward被綁在田間逛犹,星星們不再有安慰之感端辱,徒增悲涼,只剩Edward孤身一人虽画,他覺(jué)得連星星都在嘲笑他了舞蔽。
He saw the stars. But for the first time in his life, he looked at them and felt no comfort. Instead, he felt mocked. You are down there alone, the stars seemed to say to him. And we are up here, in our constellations, together.
被小男孩解救下來(lái),Edward被當(dāng)成禮物送給小男孩的妹妹Sarah码撰。只可惜渗柿,小女孩身染疾病……
Edward這一次經(jīng)歷的不僅是分離,還有死別灸拍。隨后與小男孩流落街頭做祝,變成一只“會(huì)跳舞的兔子”砾省。
饑寒交迫的小男孩,走進(jìn)了一間餐廳。飽餐以后想以一場(chǎng)表演相抵餐費(fèi)宝鼓,可是卻遭遇店主無(wú)情的斥責(zé)和媳,他舉起Edward……
迷糊中Edward做了個(gè)夢(mèng),他還是那個(gè)優(yōu)雅的陶瓷兔子狠鸳,而且所有人都在屋里等著他,唯獨(dú)……Edward多希望自己能有一雙翅膀揣苏,回到所有人的身邊……
夢(mèng)醒以后悯嗓,Edward發(fā)現(xiàn)自己身處一間玩具商店,頭部有了裂痕卸察。原來(lái)為了讓Edward得救脯厨,小男孩將他送到玩具店……
他被放置在一群女娃娃之間。
和她們的談話(huà)坑质,觸動(dòng)了Edward敏感的神經(jīng)合武,她們以為他不曾被愛(ài)過(guò)。Edward把最深處的心聲吶喊出來(lái),他們熟悉的名字就像一首悲傷甜蜜參半的曲子涡扼。
Sarah Ruth! Abilene! Their names went through Edward's head like the notes of a sad, sweet song.
“I have already been loved," said Edward, "i have been loved by a girl named Abilene. I have been loved by a fisherman and his wife and a hobo and his dog. I have been loved by a boy who played the harmonica and by a girl who died. Don't talk to me about love," he said. "I have known love."
他當(dāng)然懂得愛(ài)稼跳,而且他一直被愛(ài)著,他也希望能重回愛(ài)他的人的身邊吃沪!
日復(fù)一日汤善,看著其他娃娃都被帶走,他開(kāi)始失去希望票彪,封閉自己红淡。
He prided himself on not hoping, on not allowing his heart to lift inside of him. He prided himself on keeping his heart silent,"immobile, closed tight.
I am done with hope, thought Edward Tulane.
直到一個(gè)有上百年歷史的老娃娃出現(xiàn), 重新為Edward注入新的想法。
”You must be filled with expectancy. You must be awash in hope. You must wonder who will love you, whom you will love next."
"I am done with being loved," Edward told her."I'm done with loving. It's too painful."
"Where is your courage?"
"Somewhere else, I guess." said Edward.
"You disppoint me," she said. "You disappoint me greatly.If you have no intention of loving or being loved, then the whole journey is pointless."
故事的最后降铸,Edward在沉思的過(guò)程中迎來(lái)一場(chǎng)久別重逢……
筆記
愛(ài)德華與老娃娃的對(duì)話(huà)锉屈,這是我本書(shū)中最喜歡的一段,也是本書(shū)的點(diǎn)明主旨的一段精華垮耳。
愛(ài)德華的奇妙旅程就是一段認(rèn)識(shí)愛(ài)的旅程颈渊。
在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中,相信有很多人就像愛(ài)德華一樣身處愛(ài)之中终佛,卻不自知俊嗽。直到生活發(fā)生了改變,才能提醒我們愛(ài)的存在铃彰,去探索關(guān)于愛(ài)的方方面面绍豁。
在容易迷惘和失落的時(shí)代,我們太需要這樣的言語(yǔ)來(lái)支撐自己的信念和追求牙捉,才不被迷糊的生活吞噬竹揍。
“你必須抱有期待,活在希望當(dāng)中邪铲。你必須去思索誰(shuí)會(huì)愛(ài)你芬位,以及你將會(huì)愛(ài)誰(shuí)……”
愛(ài),沒(méi)錯(cuò)是會(huì)很痛苦的過(guò)程带到,但失去去愛(ài)和被愛(ài)的希望昧碉,我們?nèi)松蜁?huì)變得索然無(wú)味,味同嚼蠟。
我們應(yīng)該時(shí)刻去問(wèn)自己——“我們的勇氣在哪里被饿?”
應(yīng)該時(shí)刻銘記——”如果你沒(méi)有打算去愛(ài)或被愛(ài)四康,那么整個(gè)人生的旅程將失去意義。“
